The new Noise Gate is everything a pro sound designer could wish for. Besides standard parameters like Threshold, Attack, and Release, the Hold time and Hysteresis(distance between open and close threshold) parameters will give you complete control over any signal. Thanks to the filters in the monitorable sidechain, you can even split heavily cross talking toms. The Lookahead control should end the debate between "analog vs. digital". This is a superior tool that no sound designer will want to live without... 3, record 3, English, - noise%20gate

1, record 4, French, - compr%C3%A9hension%20de%20lecture

The full maximum likelihood classifier uses the Gaussian threshold stored in each class signature to determine if a given pixel falls within the class or not. The threshold is the radius(in standard deviation units) of a hyperellipse surrounding the mean of the class in feature space. If the pixel falls inside the hyperellipse, it is assigned to the class, otherwise it is assigned to a null class. However, for this classification, the null class option was not utilized, thus the thresholds were ignored and every pixel was assigned to the most probable class, the nearest class based upon the Mahalanobis distance measure(Richards, 1986). 3, record 5, English, - class%20signature

The general thrust of the new ICAO draft is to establish a threshold of 60 minutes’ flying time at single-engine speed from an alternate, beyond which twins may not operate unless they have demonstrated a certain standard of powerplant reliability and systems redundancy. Existing rules date from the late 1940s and are recognised to be outmoded in the light of current technology. ICAO's provision does not specifically mention turns, but has the effect of preventing them from operating more than 90 minutes’ flying time(with both engines operating) from an alternate-the so-called "90-minute rule". 1, record 8, English, - 90%2Dminute%20rule
