1, record 1, French, - augmentation

... the three basic elements that make up breaking—top rock, down rock and freeze. Top rock refers to all moves that are performed while standing up—generally a combination of stylish hand movements and footwork whereas freeze is when the breaker comes to a standstill in an unusual position(on their head or hands) in the middle of their routine. But the most crucial and often the highlight of the performance is the down rock, which involves all moves done on the floor.

Cadelles are one of the largest insects to infest grain. They are shiny black in colour, about 8 to 9 millimetres in length, and easily recognized by their large mandibles with which they can gnaw through sacking and even wood. The larva is also easy to recognize, with its black head and two black prongs on the last segment. The larva also has dark spots on top of the dorsal section. The cadelle has one of the longest life cycles of the beetles. The females lay about 900 eggs. At 28 degrees C and a relative humidity of 70 to 80%, it takes about 80 days from egg to adult. 1, record 38, French, - pli%C3%A9%20du%20genou

Record number: 42, Textual support number: 1 CONT
One of the most notable characteristics of an estuary is the differing gradients of salinity that are present... These gradients may appear both horizontally and vertically within the water column. Under flood tide conditions the layer of surface water coming into the estuary is moving at a faster rate than the bottom layer. As the tidal waters come in contact with the fresh water moving out of the river, the more dense salt water sinks to the bottom causing the fresh water to rise. The result of this tidal movement is a mixing of the fresh and salt water from the top to the bottom referred to as tidal over-mixing, and a salt water "wedge" being formed. The wedge is narrowest at the head of the river and it broadens out towards the mouth of the river. 6, record 42, English, - salt%2Dwater%20wedge

Lister Rig Mats provide a solid base for all your drilling needs. Our Rig Mats are also utilized as: · loading pallets and ramps; · barge liners for heavy weight load distribution; · floors for field machine shops and warehouses; . pipeline and pedestrian bridges; · helicopter pads; · tank and camp foundations. The average life of a Rig Mat is 10 years, but many have continued to be active for 15-20 years. ... Our rig mats consist of two continuous wood sections with laminations glued and nailed together. The glue between the wooden planks reduces weight gain caused by liquid retention. Strength is mainly provided by the steel beams, and the wood sections assisted by lateral flat bars transfer part of the load from one beam to another. 1, record 64, English, - rig%20mat

Shake, Rattle & Roll Poster.... Rattle :... Even though there are no sounds in the vacuum of space, it is very noisy inside the International Space Station. A lot of the noise comes from the rattling and creaking of fans and events. Student Activity : Acquire a large, clean empty cardboard box(top or bottom removed), big enough to fit easily and comfortably over a person's head, leaving ample room for ventilation. Sit the box on the floor or table, open side down, and tap or scratch lightly on the outside of the box using only your hands. Next, place the box over your head and repeat the procedure. Comment on the loudness of the sounds you hear. Relate this to conditions inside the International Space Station. Student Challenge : Acquire a simple, inexpensive household fan. Develop a method to reduce the amount of noise produced by the fan without reducing the airflow. 1, record 73, English, - rattle

Affiche «Rock'n'roll spatial». [...] Bruits : [...] 1, record 73, French, - bruits

A sparge arm is another worthwhile brewery option. Although it does not actually save time, it does decrease the amount of effort you must spend pouring sparge water into the lauter tun. A sparge arm can be purchased ready-made, improvised from a shower head, or fabricated at home. One simple design is a perforated copper loop that lies on top of the grain in the lauter tun. It is connected to the hot liquor tank by food-grade tubing, and you control the flow of water from the hot liquor tank using a ball valve. Water is run through the copper loop onto the grain bed at a rate about equal to the rate of wort leaving the tun. 2, record 79, English, - rotating%20arm

Auditory evoked potentials(AEPs) are a subclass of ERPs [event-related potentials]. For AEPs, the "event" is a sound. The AEPs that are recorded from the top of the head originate from structures within the brain(e. g., the auditory cortex, the auditory brainstem structures, the auditory VIIIth cranial nerve). 1, record 85, English, - auditory%20evoked%20potential

An injection port is necessary in all g. c. [gas chromatography] and h. p. l. c. [high-performance liquid chromatography] systems in which syringe injection is employed. The injection port joins the top of the column to the mobile phase supply line, and has a third outlet through a small orifice covered by a self-sealing septum. Injection of samples is done by inserting the hypodermic syringe containing the sample through this septum so that the point of the needle is immediately above the head of the column. Design of the injection port must be such that it can be maintained at a uniform temperature and will possess a very small dead volume. 4, record 94, English, - injection%20port

4, record 94, French, - chambre%20d%27injection

Another process somewhat related to extrusion blow molding is the extrusion/molded neck process. Still used today by Owens-Illinois, this is a proprietary process that traces its roots to glass-blowing technology. It is unique in that the bottle neck finish is injection molded and the bottle body is extrusion blow-molded. In this process, the two halves of a neck finish cavity or neckring are mounted to an actuating head assembly, which intermeshes with the two halves of the blow-mold cavity. The process cycle begins with the main body mold cavity open and the neckring cavity closed. The actuating head assembly moves downward to contact the extrusion die head. When it is in position, extrusion pressure fills the neck section with plastic melt. After it is held for one to two seconds, the head assembly moves upward while, simultaneously, the parison is extruded. When the head assembly reaches the top of its stroke, the blow-mold cavity closes on the parison. The remaining steps of parison pinch-off, blowing, and part removal all follow conventional techniques. Although the production cycle is somewhat slow, the process offers the quality advantage of an accurately molded neck and the process advantage of a parison held at both ends. 1, record 98, English, - extrusion%20molded%20neck%20blow%2Dmolding%20process
