tremplineur,-neuse : Il serait éminemment souhaitable de rapprocher «trampoline» de son doublet français «tremplin» et de créer ainsi le mot «trempline», qui pourrait ensuite engendrer des dérivés «tremplineur», «trempliner», etc. (RCF, 1978,, 422). Cette proposition semble ne pas vouloir trouver preneur. Au Canada, on utilise surtout «trampoline» et il est fort à parier que «trampolinage», «trampolineur» et «trampoliner» auront cours avec la popularité croissante du sport pratiqué sur cet engin.
