To determine the frequency of short tandem repeat instability in adenocarcinoma of the prostate, we studied 40 tumors that were stratified according to tumor grade. The tissue samples were screened with di-, tri-and tetranucleotide markers spanning a wide range of chromosomal loci, including an androgen receptor gene trinucleotide repeat. Microsatellite instability was observed overall in only one of the 40(2. 5%) prostate adenocarcinomas studied. This replication error-positive tumor demonstrated repeat length alterations at two loci. 1, record 1, English, - microsatellite

Polysulfide-type synthetic rubber is a compound of aliphatic hydrocarbon chains linked by di-, tri-and tetra-sulfide links, manufactured from sodium polysulfide and a dihalide. Thiokol is the commercial trade name. In the manufacturing process, the sodium polysulfide is heated to 160°F.... This synthetic rubber shows oil and solvent resistance, good aging, low permeability, and has good processing characteristics.... Alcohol’s are important solvents in finishing. If you see a chemical compound with the "ol" as a suffix its an alcohol. You can have a low molecular weight alcohol like methanol (CH3OH) or a high molecular weight alcohol like glycerol (CH2OH·CHOH·CH2OH). What they all have in common is what chemists call a functional group - in this case it’s the OH group - called a hydroxyl group. The number of hydroxyl groups determine whether it’s an alcohol or a polyol (containing more than one hydroxyl groups). The most common ones are what chemists call the lower alcohols. 6, record 8, English, - higher%20alcohol

4, record 8, French, - alcool%20sup%C3%A9rieur

Bulk samples are taken from the suspect material. These may be swab samples, bulk dilution samples, or Rodac plate samples. For duct insulation, the following numbers are rough rules of thumb used to assess fungal contamination using a dilution sample. Qualitative Assessment of Contamination (concentration -units/gram): low: less than 10,000; medium: 10,000 to 100,000; medium to heavy: 100,000 to 1,000,000; heavy: greater than 1,000,000. 2, record 9, English, - qualitative%20assessment%20of%20contamination

Utility emissions were projected using two models : the Utility Simulator Model(USM), developed and operated by Teknetron Research, Incorporated(TRI), and the Cool and Electric Utilities Model(CEUM) developed and run by ICF Incorporated. Both models are capable of projecting future energy use, by fuel type, for the electric industry, given a baseline energy scenario. The models also calculate the cost of emission controls, emissions and relative cost effectiveness of control, on a dollar per tonne of collected pollutant basis. 1, record 13, English, - Coal%20and%20Electric%20Utilities%20Model
