... Assystem City Car... is remarkably easy to park, and not only because of its compact dimensions(3. 60 m long, 1. 60 m wide and 1. 60 m tall), or its light weight(only 600 kg), but also because it has three axles, a central one, with two wheels, and one wheel in each extreme of the car(front and end). These single wheel axles are the ones responsible for moving and turning the Assystem City Car. The front wheel is powered by an electrical engine with 20 kW(about 27 cv), which can push the car to 50 km/h of top speed and has 30 km of autonomy, basically what regular people need to go to work and back home every day. For the roads, there is a little combustion engine that delivers 60 cv in the rear axle. It can lead the vehicle to a top speed of 130 km/h and, with its 30 l fuel tank, can carry the Assystem City Car to up to 600 km. Both engines can be used together, what turns this car into a hybrid. This vehicle, albeit small, can carry up to five people and their luggage. It has a low gravity center, what enhances dynamics, its oval shape prevents serious accident consequences and, when visibility is low, a screen takes the place of the regular windshield and shows the driver infrared images of the road, guiding him/her safely to destination. 1, record 3, English, - Assystem%20City%20Car

Assystem City Car [...] 2, record 3, French, - Assystem%20City%20Car

The propulsion subsystem featured sets of small thrusters and a main engine. The thrusters were used to perform Odyssey's attitude control and trajectory correction manoeuvres, while the main engine was used to place the spacecraft in orbit around Mars. The main engine, which used hydrazine propellant with nitrogen tetroxide as an oxidiser, produced a minimum thrust of 65. 3 kilograms of force. Each of the four thrusters used for attitude control produce a thrust of 0. 1 kilogram of force. Four 2. 3-kilogram-force thrusters were used for turning the spacecraft. In addition to miscellaneous tubing, pyro valves and filters, the propulsion subsystem also included a single gaseous helium tank used to pressurise the fuel and oxidiser tanks. The propulsion subsystem weighed 49. 7 kilograms. 4, record 6, English, - thruster

So what is the difference between a non-condensing and condensing engine? A "condensing" steam engine does not exhaust its piped steam. Instead the spent steam is piped into a devise whcih, like a car radiator, cools the steam turning it back in to liquid water(cooling and condensing the steam). That still very hot wtaer is pumped back into the boilers where it is reheated and reused. Since the returning water is still very hot it requires less heat to bring it back up to boiling temperature. A big savings in fuel and boiling water is free of mud and dirt like normal river water. 4, record 8, English, - condensing%20steam%20engine
