Chronic gallbladder disease refers to several conditions that can harm gallbladder function. The gallbladder, a sac located under the liver, stores and regulates the release of bile into the upper small intestine to aid in the digestion of fat. When a chronic condition prevents the gallbladder from doing its job effectively, it's known as chronic gallbladder disease. Several different conditions fall under the umbrella of chronic gallbladder disease, though most cases involve chronic cholecystitis. This condition is an inflammation of the gallbladder that usually results from the formation of gallstones. It can cause the gallbladder to shrink and lose function. 2, record 1, English, - chronic%20gallbladder%20disease

Frost describes the formation of thin ice crystals on the ground or other surfaces in the form of scales, needles, feathers, or fans. Frost develops under conditions similar to dew, except the temperatures of the Earth's surface and earthbound objects falls below 32°F. As with the term "freeze, "this condition is primarily significant during the growing season. If a frost period is sufficiently severe to end the growing season or delay its beginning, it is commonly referred to as a "killing frost. "Because frost is primarily an event that occurs as the result of radiational cooling, it can occur with standard observing level temperature(at 5 feet above ground) in the mid to upper 30's. 4, record 9, English, - frost%20warning
Record number: 9, Textual support number: 2 OBS
In consulted sources, "frost warning" and "frost advisory" are defined in the same manner. However, Environment Canada differentiates a "warning" from an "advisory": "A weather advisory is issued when forecast conditions are expected to cause general inconvenience or concern, and do not pose a serious enough threat to issue a weather warning. An advisory will often precede a warning." 5, record 9, English, - frost%20warning

Under the PPSA, the general rule is that the first creditor to register or take possession has priority. This rule is different from the rule that applies under the existing law. Currently, if a company created two charges in favour of two separate creditors, it is the creditor whose charge was created first that takes priority(so long as that creditor has registered within the 30-day period required by the Companies Act). The general rule under the PPSA is that first to register or take possession takes priority no matter which charge is signed first. One consequence is that creditors, such as banks, are likely to require registration of a financing statement as a condition precedent to advancing funds to a debtor. 2, record 14, English, - first%20creditor

Thermal conditioning. There are two basic processes for thermal treatment of sludges. One, wet air oxidation, is the flameless oxidation of sludges at temperatures of 450 to 550 °F and pressures of about 1200 psig. The other type, heat treatment, is similar but carried out at temperatures of 350 to 400 ºF and pressures of 150 to 300 psig. Wet air oxidation reduces the sludge to an ash and heat treatment improves the dewaterability of the sludge. The lower temperature and pressure heat treatment is more widely used than the oxidation process. 3, record 16, English, - thermal%20conditioning

Title l of the 1949 Housing Act authorized federal grants and loans to localities for slum clearance and urban redevelopment, under the condition that there be "a feasible method for the temporary relocation of families displaced from the project area and the permanent provision of decent dwellings at prices and rents within the financial means of such families. "Ostensibly, slum clearance was done to promote the building of low and moderate income housing. However, private developers were largely uninterested in inner-city residential redevelopment when vacant land was readily available at the periphery. The first lesson of urban renewal was clearly taught, if not learned : land clearance does not create demand. Instead, public housing was developed in large scale residential "projects" in urban renewal district. 3, record 20, English, - urban%20redevelopment

Under the old law, a deed could not be delivered, as an escrow, direct to the grantee. Delivery in escrow was made to a third party-the first delivery-and, upon the fulfilment of the condition, the third party would deliver the deed to the grantee-the second delivery. It seems that the old law no longer applies. The more modern approach is to treat the question as one of fact; even where there is delivery to the grantee, the intention of the parties must be ascertained, from the transaction as a whole, as to whether the delivery was absolute or conditional.(Mendes da Costa and Balfour, p. 401) 1, record 21, English, - delivery%20in%20escrow

Record number: 25, Textual support number: 1 OBS
Usage has provided two closely related but importantly different conceptions of the term saturation(a) One is the condition in which the vapor pressure exerted by water vapor is equal to the saturation vapor pressure at the prevailing temperature. This definition implies the presence of a plane surface of pure liquid water or ice, and thus is a condition dependent upon the temperature only, irrespective of actual environment. Since, in nature, such a "plane surface of pure water" is rarely found and the physico-chemical environment of water vapor is anything but constant, this strict concept of saturation can be very misleading with regard to actual condensation processes; but the conservative base which this definition supplies is required as a comparison standard(as for relative humidity measurements). More specific terminology is often advisedly used, like "saturation with respect to water" or "saturation with respect to ice".(b) The other is the condition in which the vapor pressure of water vapor is equal to the equilibrium vapor pressure under the existing environmental conditions(temperature; and shape, size and composition of adjacent matter)... It should be clear that saturation should always be defined "with respect to" an intended environment, either standard(as in a above) or actual. 3, record 25, English, - saturation

In a considerable number of civilizations, an insolvent debtor either became his creditor's slave or could be sold by the latter to a third person. Usually the condition arose from a pledge by a debtor of his personal services, or those of a person under his control, as security for a loan. The main feature of such an arrangement is that the value of services furnished is not applied toward the liquidation of the debt. Consequently the individual pledged has practically no hope ever to escape his servile condition. 4, record 28, English, - debt%20bondage

The Controlled Products Regulations describe technical criteria for identifying materials which are classified as dangerously reactive. A dangerously reactive material can react vigorously : with water to produce a very toxic gas; on its own by polymerization or decomposition; or under conditions of shock, or an increase in pressure or temperature. A dangerously reactive material may cause a fire, explosion or other hazardous condition. It is very important to know which conditions(such as shock, heating or contact with water) may set off the dangerous reaction so that appropriate preventive measures can be taken. 3, record 32, English, - dangerously%20reactive%20material

Oil filtration systems are one of the most effective means of controlling the contamination generated in a mechanical pump. The external oil filtration system, is an independent free-standing unit that usually consists of a transfer pump and motor combination, one or more stages of filtration, a sight glass to monitor the condition of the fluid, a pressure gauge to determine the element change point, and hoses equipped with dripless quick disconnects to attach the system to the mechanical pump. In addition, the system may have a means of quickly removing the filter housings, enabling the operator to effect an element change under a fume hood, or the system may be of a size that the entire system may be disconnected from the pump and transported to the fume hood. 1, record 45, English, - oil%20filtration%20system

The purpose of the Emergency Control Center can be stated in a single word, and that is communication. The normal operating mode of a Computer Center requires designated persons to execute specific procedures at scheduled times, under the direction and control of the appropriate management. In the case of an emergency condition, the task of the management and control of operational processing becomes more complex due to the many alternative processing procedures that my need to be invoked, and the abrupt relocation of certain operations. 1, record 56, English, - Emergency%20Control%20Center
