The important thing to remember about flying an unstable aircraft is that control forces-admittedly small ones-have to be exercised all the time, even to keep the aircraft flying straight and level.... The accepted term for such a machine that can be flown only by a continual balancing of control forces is a control configured vehicle(CCV).... A control configured aircraft... needs to be flown by a computer, capable of receiving both sensor inputs on the behaviour of the surrounding air and mission performance instructions initiated by the pilot and generated by the fire control system. 3, record 2, English, - control%20configured%20vehicle

The most important aspect of our cloning vectors is that they are based on the E. coli F-factor replicon. It allows for strict copy number control of the clones so that they are stably maintained at 1-2 copies per cell. The stability of the cloned DNA during propagation in E. coli host is substantially higher in lower-copy number vectors than in multi-copy counterparts.... The stabilizing effect of BAC and cosmid vectors is notable especially for certain genomic DNA that are normally unstable in high copy number vectors. 1, record 4, English, - bacterial%20artificial%20chromosome

Cementer(Oil and Gas Wells). Cements openings in walls or casings of oil or gas wells : studies rock formations and well conditions and determines method of cementing; calculates quality and quantity of cement required; supervises mixing of cement and pumping of it to predetermined sections of well; determines solidification time and tests completed job by emptying well and testing for seepage. There are two variations... [of the maglev]... The so-called repulsion-mode electrodynamic system, proposed by Powell and Danby... [and] the attraction-mode electromagnetic system [developed in Germany]. [In this system] conventional(nonsuperconducting) iron-core electromagnets carried by the vehicle are attracted upward toward ferromagnetic components attached to the underside of the guideway structure. This type of magnetic suspension is inherently unstable and needs precise control to maintain a clearance of about l. 5 centimeters between the vehicle's magnets and the guideway. One advantage, however, is that the vehicle remains levitated even when motionless and thus could be used for urban and commuter transit as well as for longer, high-speed routes. 2, record 6, English, - attraction%2Dmode%20electromagnetic%20maglev

2, record 6, French, - maglev%20%C3%A9lectromagn%C3%A9tique%20%C3%A0%20mode%20attractif
