Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
[Axial bellows], of the type shown on a wellhead ..., transmit high compressive or tensile forces to the anchors, which must in consequence be sufficiently robust to resist these forces. They provide a rather expensive means of compensation, and are therefore used only where space restrictions prohibit the use of any form of looping - e.g. within a power house building, or in a hot water transmission pipe where vertical looping ... cannot be adopted. Internal metal sleeves greatly reduce steam friction in corrugated axial bellows. 1, record 1, English, - axial%20bellows

Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 DEF
A solid-state metal joining process producing high-strength, defect-free joints in metallic materials. The process employs a pin tool with a low rotational speed and applied pressure that "mechanically stirs" two parent materials together to produce a uniform weld. 3, record 4, English, - friction%20stir%20welding
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Friction stir welding uses a cylindrical, shouldered tool with a profiled pin that is rotated and slowly plunged into the joint line between two pieces of sheet or plate material, which are butted together. Frictional heat is generated between the wear resistant welding tool and the work piece. This heat causes the work piece material to soften without reaching the melting point and allows the tool to traverse the weld line. As it does, the plasticized material is transferred from the leading edge of the tool to the trailing edge of the tool shoulder and pin. It leaves a solid phase bond between the two work pieces. 2, record 4, English, - friction%20stir%20welding

3, record 4, French, - soudage%20par%20friction%2Dmalaxage
