A column in which a structural steel member, designed to carry part of the load, is encased in concrete of such quality and in such manner that the combination of steel and concrete will carry the total load.

CONT

A structural steel column encased in concrete at least 2½ inches thick over all the metal and reinforced with welded wire fabric is called a combination column. Composite and combination columns are often used in construction of large buildings.

I have a 1944 copyrighted Welded wire Fabric Manual that describes typical concrete plank as "made from a combination of lightweight aggregate mixed with a foam compound to produce an aerated concrete which is nailable and can be cut in the field. "A newer catalog(1990) for 2" nailable concrete plank gives the weight as 12 psf.

Barricade 500 is an advanced outdoor vibration detection system [which] sensors are sealed and weather proof, simple to install, and adaptable to most types of fences constructed of metal fabric, such as welded metal mesh, chain link, and barbed-wire screen. The system is designed to detect attempted intrusions through the perimeter's fence. The proprietary vibration sensors, fastened to the fence fabric, detect intrusions caused by scalling the fence or by cutting through it.
