The motion of free-floating space robots is characterized by non-holonomic constraints, i. e., non-integrable rate constraint equations. These constraints originate from the principles of conservation of angular momentum. It is well known that these rate constraints can also be written to form an input-affine drift-less control system. Trajectory planning of these systems is extremely challenging and computation intensive since the motion must satisfy differential constraints. Under certain conditions, these drift-less control systems can be shown to be differentially flat. 1, record 4, English, - free%2Dfloating%20space%20robot

To date, most of the research on the control of space robots has centered on "free-floating" robots. Free-floating robots are defined as space robots where the satellite base position and orientation are unactuated. Without base actuation, no external forces or torques act upon the system when the end-effector is not in contact with the work environment. The linear and angular momenta of the system are conserved, so the spacecraft base moves in reaction to commanded arm motion. 2, record 4, English, - free%2Dfloating%20space%20robot

Analytical solutions can not be found for many partial differential and ordinary differential equations(most in fact). In the case when an analytical solution has not been found yet, numerical methods may be applied to get an approximate solution. For instance a well known equation with an analytical solution is the wave equation. On the other hand, a well known equation that doesn’t have an analytical solution is the Navier-Stokes equation. 3, record 13, English, - analytical%20solution

Much has been... written about intelligent well technology(IWT), but not everyone agrees as to what constitutes an intelligent well(IW). Then there are others who believe that use of simple hydraulic-controlled, remote-operated, downhole-flow-control devices with only on/off position control but no downhole monitoring, should be considered an IW. A definition accepted.... among others, is that an IW installation is one that includes all of the following capabilities : Monitoring : The ability to monitor wellbore and/or reservoir characteristics in real time; Optimization : Analyze the data from monitoring, and pro-actively adjust flow regimes from multiple zones or laterals; Flow control : Utilization of remotely operated downhole-flow-control devices... for adjustment of flow regimes. 2, record 21, English, - intelligent%20well%20technology

The development of intelligent well technology began in the late 1980s. This procedure measures the reader's ability to comprehend a written passage. Because it requires readers to process information, it may take up to 30 minutes to administer. In a Cloze test, text appears with every fifth word omitted. The reader tries to fill in the blanks. This task demonstrates how well he/she understands the text. The reader's ability to identify the correct word also reflects his/her familiarity with sentence structure. 2, record 27, English, - cloze%20procedure
