A Turk's head knot is a decorative knot with a basket weave pattern surrounding a cylinder shaped object. The name is used to describe the general family of all such knots rather than one individual knot. The most common use for the Turk's head is to mark the "king spoke" of a vessel' s wheel; when this spoke is upright the rudder is in a central position. Otherwise, the knot is used mostly for decoration, and occasionally as anti-chafing protection. The number of leads of a Turk's head is the number of crossings it makes as it goes around the circumference of the cylinder. The number of bends is the number of strands along the long axis of the cylinder. Depending on the number of leads and bends, a Turk's head may be tied using a single strand or multiple strands. Mathematically, the number of strands is the greatest common divisor of the number of leads and the number of bends; the knot may be tied with a single strand if and only if the two numbers are coprime. The knot was originally named because of its resemblance to a turban. 6, record 1, English, - Turk%27s%20head

The Turk’s head knot is commonly used as a covering knot. Members of the Boy Scouts of America have taken a liking to tying a five bight, three lead variation which they call a "woggle." 7, record 1, English, - Turk%27s%20head

As the roads dried the bunch entered 5km to go and Brown could be seen hugging McEwen’s wheel in about 15th position. Brown may have been doing all he could in January to get in front of McEwen but today he would gladly follow a wheel that was guaranteed to be in the right position. This was not to be as with 3km to go, McEwen flatted and Brown had to fight up to the Acqua & Supone train. 4, record 2, English, - follow%20a%20wheel

Following a wheel The most crucial tactic in the sport is to conserve energy by riding directly behind another. Big savings in effort are made by staying in the slipstream, while riders will often share the load by circulating and each doing a turn on the front. 5, record 2, English, - follow%20a%20wheel

Most whizzed coins have an unnaturally shiny appearance produced by the abrasive action of the buffing wheel, scour pad or substance used on the coin. Coins are also whizzed to remove or reduce unsightly problems(abrasions), or to mask the effects of adding or removing a mint mark or altering a date. Since whizzed coins lose significant market value, they must be advertised as such when offered for sale. 1, record 3, English, - whizzing
