The total mortality rate estimated from the lengths in the scientific surveys, the number of fishing days of a fleet per season, the percentage of immature individuals as well as the amount of gear per fishing area are indicators of fishing pressure on a population. Stockings(or hose) or hose tops were... worn on the lower leg. The hose tops were a derivation of the knitted stockings which emerged not from tradition but convenience. When the toes and heels of a soldier's stockings wore away he would cut them back until eventually he would be left with a saddle where the sole of his stocking once was. When this too wore away he was left with nothing but the upper portion of his stocking, preserved today as hose tops, an item of dress still issued to highland soldiers in the modern Australian army. 2, record 22, English, - hose%20top

1, record 25, French, - mandat%20du%20gouverneur%20g%C3%A9n%C3%A9ral

Companies originally used stocks as a way of raising additional capital, and as a way to boost their business growth. Frost describes the formation of thin ice crystals on the ground or other surfaces in the form of scales, needles, feathers, or fans. Frost develops under conditions similar to dew, except the temperatures of the Earth’s surface and earthbound objects falls below 32°F. As with the term "freeze," this condition is primarily significant during the growing season. If a frost period is sufficiently severe to end the growing season or delay its beginning, it is commonly referred to as a "killing frost." Because frost is primarily an event that occurs as the result of radiational cooling, it can occur with standard observing level temperature (at 5 feet above ground) in the mid to upper 30’s. 4, record 31, English, - frost%20warning

In consulted sources, "frost warning" and "frost advisory" are defined in the same manner. An advisory will often precede a warning. " 5, record 31, English, - frost%20warning

The border dispute between Eritrea and Ethiopia has been continuing ever since Eritrea became independent and the present Ethiopian government came to power. Bilateral attempts to settle the dispute by jointly demarcating the common border has been in process, but these attempts were frustrated when Ethiopia unilaterally issued a new map that included large tracts of Eritrean territory and intensified its incursions into these areas to forcibly incorporate them into its domaine. The dispute escalated into armed conflict when unprovoked Ethiopian forces attacked an Eritrean patrol unit deep inside Eritrean territory on May 6, 1998. 1, record 81, English, - Eritrea%2DEthiopia%20Conflict

The elevator operator pays the producer according to this decision. You both have the right to ask for a review of the results if either of you disagrees with the decision. You must make this request to a CGC service centre within 30 days of the date the certificate is issued. The Regional Inspector reviews the results of the moisture test. This involves verifying the accuracy of the test by checking equipment readings recorded when the sample was tested. It could also include checking if the moisture metre has been properly calibrated. Information from this review is then sent to the Chief Grain Inspector's office for final review. The Chief Grain Inspector's decision is final and binding upon both of you. The CGC sends both of you a re-inspection record, along with a revised certificate if the moisture results are changed. 2, record 97, English, - moisture%20test

When a member having grain on surrender with the Association wants to deliver all or part of it on a sale, it is not necessary to withdraw actual warehouse receipts. Instead, the Association provides a form of transfer certificate which is issued on application for any quantity or grade required, and is transferable and negotiable by endorsement in the same way as the warehouse receipt, making it possible to carry out any transaction or sale, and make delivery of any quantity and grade with only one document. This eliminates the need for a number of warehouse receipts of different quantities and storage dates, involving the figuring and adjusting of storage on each warehouse receipt separately. 1, record 99, English, - transfer%20certificate
