Squirrels mainly travel between the tree crowns. Wherever trees are too far apart, as is the case around roads, they venture onto the ground. As six roads cross through the Gijsbrecht van Aemstelpark, squirrels would end up as road kill victims. To put an end to this situation, six squirrel bridges were created in 2012. In places where several squirrels had been run over, rope bridges were created to give squirrels safe passage between the tree crowns on either side of the lane. 2, record 13, English, - squirrel%20bridge

Snippets provide an easy way to implement commonly used code or functions into a larger section of code. Instead of rewriting the same code over and over again, a programmer can save the code as a snippet and simply drag and drop the snippet wherever it is needed. By using snippets, programmers and Web developers can also organize common code sections into categories, creating a cleaner development environment. 3, record 26, English, - code%20snippet

Individual man-to-man defense is both a basic style of play and the name of a team strategy in which each player is assigned to cover one opponent wherever he goes on the floor. Molybdenum is an essential element for the function of nitrogenase in plants and as a cofactor for enzymes including xanthine oxidoreductase, aldehyde oxidase, and sulfide oxidase in animals.(NH4) 6Mo7O24 is the form of ammonium molybdate frequently sold because it is easily prepared at high purity by crystallization from aqueous solutions of MoO3 containing excess NH3.... AM is used for preparing specialty catalysts and wherever a highly aqueous soluble form of molybdate, free of metal cations, is required. The sinking of surface water and rise of bottom water in a lake or sea that results from changes in density due to changes in temperature and that commonly occurs in spring and fall wherever lakes are icebound in winter. 6, record 73, English, - overturn
Record number: 73, Textual support number: 1 OBS
It is due to the increase in density of water above and below 39.2°F (4°C, the temperature of minimum density). In the spring, as the surface of the water warms above the freezing point, the water increases in density, becomes heavier, and tends to sink, producing vertical currents, while in the fall, as the surface water becomes colder and therefore heavier, it also tends to sink. Wind may also create such vertical currents. 3, record 73, English, - overturn

With the combined efforts of the federal, provincial and territorial governments, community groups, social agencies libraries, schools, volunteer groups and business community, CAP helps Canadians, wherever they live, take advantage of emerging opportunities in the new global knowledge-based economy. Under CAP, public locations like schools, libraries and community centres act as "on-ramps" to the Information Highway, and provide computer support and training. 2, record 80, French, - Programme%20d%27acc%C3%A8s%20communautaire

The Labourer-Teacher program(L-T for short) is the original literacy program of Frontier College. We recruit, train and send Labourer-Teachers to work and teach across Canada. Currently Labourer-Teachers are placed primarily in agricultural settings : on farms and in processing plants. They have also worked on rail gangs, in lumber and mining camps, in prisons, in urban factories and in remote communities. Wherever they are, Labourer-Teachers do the same heavy labour jobs as other workers. In peak season, this can mean 12 hours per day, 6-7 days per week. For this work, Labourer-Teachers are paid the same as their co-workers-usually minimum wage. In addition to this physical work, Labourer-Teachers volunteer their time to provide educational and recreational opportunities for their co-workers. These activities are determined by the interests of people in their workplace. 1, record 84, English, - Labourer%2DTeacher%20program

A floating flame is an indication that there is a lack of secondary air to the flame. In severe cases, the flame will leave the burner and have the appearance of a floating cloud. Again, the intermediate products of combustion are apt to escape from place to place wherever sufficient air for combustion may be found. This flame is sometimes hard to detect because, as the door to the equipment is opened sufficient air will be admitted to allow the flame to rest on the burner properly. However, the obnoxious odor of aldehydes may still be detected. Another possible cause of this flame is an improperly operating vent system. If the products of combustion cannot escape, fresh air cannot reach the flame 1, record 90, English, - floating%20flame
Record number: 90, Textual support number: 2 CONT
When a flame raises off the burner it is important to determine if it is a "lifting flame" or a "floating flame": "Lifting Flames" rise from the ports to burn some distance above the ports. In some cases these flames will drop back to the port and lift again intermittently. They are caused by too much primary air. Decreasing the shutter opening will stop lifting flames. "Floating Flames" are long and lazy looking, poorly defined, quiet flames which roll around the combustion chamber sometimes completely off the ports. Floating flames result from too little secondary or "make up" air. Lack of secondary air can be caused by incorrect venting, clogged flueways, blocked secondary air inlet openings, or lack of natural room makeup air to the oven. 2, record 90, English, - floating%20flame

Recreation facilities are generally located wherever land happens to be available. Sometimes the site is appropriate and at other times it is not. There are two basic types of site locations for play areas : external and internal. The external location projects the play facility out into the public activity sector. 3, record 96, English, - recreation%20facilities

La relation établie avec les étudiants est très différente d'une méthode à l'autre. Dans l'encadrement par courriel, je n'ai aucune connaissance de la personne à qui j'ai affaire (entre autres je pourrais facilement être floué lors de l'évaluation). Small, soft balls of fibre that form on the yarn wherever it comes into contact with parts of the weaving machine(reed, warp stop motion). 1, record 98, English, - fibre%20ball
Record number: 98, Textual support number: 1 CONT
[The] fibre balls that occur over the entire width of the reed are usually due to under-sizing of the warp, inappropriate sizing recipes of incorrectly applied sizing agents. At the selvedges, fibre balls can also be caused by excessive thread density or accumulation of fly in the selvedge region. Apart from under-sizing, crossed threads or incorrect setting of the warp stop motion may be responsible for fibre balls in the warp stop motion. 1, record 98, English, - fibre%20ball

Boulettes souples constituées de fibres, qui se forment sur le fil toujours aux endroits où celui-ci entre en contact avec des éléments de la machine (peigne, casse-chaîne). 1, record 98, French, - boulette%20de%20fibres
Record number: 98, Textual support number: 1 CONT
1, record 98, French, - boulette%20de%20fibres
