The Human Resources Management Modernization Branch(HRMM) was established in April 2004, as an organization within the Public Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada(PSHRMAC), the new central agency whose core business, purpose and focus is to improve the management of people, and of leadership, in the public service of Canada. In this context the HRMM branch plays a critical role within the Agency and across government for managing the transition to a reformed HR system, and its associated performance measurement regime. The HRMM branch is accountable for providing leadership and oversight over a broad range of functional areas, with primary responsibility for the implementation of the Public Service Modernization Act(PSMA), leading the ongoing Classification reform process, aligning Employment policies and developing the HR dimension of the CASS initiative. In summary, the HRMM branch and its Executive team provide the visible face of HR reform to key stakeholders and the HR community across government. 1, record 7, English, - Human%20Resources%20Management%20Modernization%20Branch

1, record 7, French, - Direction%20de%20la%20modernisation%20de%20la%20gestion%20des%20ressources%20humaines

When the Business Partnering Model was first presented, the role of a broker within the Director, Human Resources’ team had been developed whose responsibility was routing all requests to the appropriate service centre, tracking all requests to ensure service standards were met, and providing information to managers and the team on the status of individual service transactions. After long discussions, the broker role was replaced by a Business Line Team(BLT). This team is part of the Organization and Resourcing Services. On a matrix basis, a team will be set up for each client Branch/SOA. Headed by a Senior Consultant, reporting to the Resourcing Manager, the team represents a mix of skills and resources to meet client needs as defined by a service agreement negotiatied by the Director, Human Resources. The Senior Consultant, BLT and his/her team will work in partnership with the Director, HR team and will provide constant feed back on results and issues impacting service delivery to the client. Members of the BLT team are at all levels of the organization from support to officer. The make up of the Business Line Team is reviewed annually based on client business plans and service agreements. The Business Line Team is the client's single point of access for staffing, organization design and classification request. It is also responsible for providing these services in the most strategic and cost-efficient way for the client. The Director, HR team will keep the BLT abreast of any client issue, general direction and priority that might impact on service delivery. 2, record 16, English, - Business%20Line%20Team

2, record 16, French, - %C3%89quipe%20de%20secteur%20d%27activit%C3%A9

The concept of immunologic surveillance was proposed as a paradigm by Burnet3 in 1970 to explain the spontaneous growth of cancer in a normal host. He proposed that the immune system had the capacity of detecting non-self from self as a general principle. When non-self was detected, the immune systems reacted with a variety of effectors, whose responsibility was to destroy the invading organisms. This understanding was found to be essentially correct when applied to invading organisms such as bacteria, pleuropneumonia-like organisms and viruses. The major cell type of the immune system whose responsibility it was to make the self-nonself determination were T cells.

2, record 39, French, - sinistre%20de%20tierce%20partie

Another factor is the risk of non-repayment as assessed by the lender. Financial institutions must ensure that loans are repaid because they have a responsibility to their depositors and/or shareholders whose money is being used to make those loans. Thus the interest rate will vary with the degree of risk. 1, record 40, English, - risk%20of%20non%2Drepayment

1, record 40, French, - risque%20de%20non%20remboursement
