Most chairs and sofas require an edge wire around the springs.... For applying the edge wire you will need a length of spring-type edge wire. This should be long enough to go completely around the outside edge of the springs with several inches extra for fastening the ends of the wire together. To find out the length of edge wire needed measure across the top of a row of springs from front to back.

A wiring harness [is] an assembly of electrical wiring bundles.

An electrical wiring harness typically comprises a bundle of individual wires of varying gauges, impedances, and types, all arranged in a particular order. These wiring harnesses are typically bound together in order to facilitate the installation, repair and maintenance of the wires, and the connection of multiple remote systems. ... In the aircraft industry, for example, wiring harnesses are used to interconnect the various electrical components and subassemblies of the multitude of systems located within an aircraft.

The operation and integrity of insulated conductors forming a core or wire bundle in an aircraft environment must be maintained, otherwise a resulting transmission of erroneous data through the wire bundles may occur. In a severe environment of increased temperatures, such as inside the leading edge of a wing, a thermal barrier installed over the wire bundles can afford the protection needed.

The presence of an axial plasma jet in dynamic hohlraum experiments can affect our interpretation of the radiation temperature within the hohlraum. We expect to see a jet on PBFAZ, after the tungsten wire array implodes and strikes the inner annular foam target. When you have applied burlap to all the inside openings, the next operation is to place fox edging(roll edging) along the edge wire wherever weight will be placed on the edge. In an arm chair the fox edging would only be used across the front. On an end unit of a sectional sofa the edging would go across the front and around the open side. On a center unit of a sectional the edging would go all around the springs except at the back. The purpose of the edging is to protect the covering from a sharp bend over the edge wire and cushion it.

The square rim is a result of the heavy pressure of the coining press in striking proof coins. The pressure forces the metal to flow out to the rims, to the limiting confines of the collar die. The rims thus have a more finished, square look, as opposed to the more rounded rims of a business strike.
