Routine dental care is important due to the unique structure and function of horses’ teeth. Horses have a combination of brachydont and hypsodont teeth. The simple(brachydont) teeth are the first premolars(wolf tooth) and canines that have a distinct crown and root, but have no function for the domestic horse. The incisors and molars(cheek teeth) are hypsodont, like the molars of ruminants(cows, goats and sheep etc). This type of tooth has a large body that continues to erupt into the horse's mouth as they are worn down by fibrous feed material. Most of the tooth is below the gum line in younger horses and continues to develop as it enters the mouth. 3, record 1, English, - hypsodont

[An] example of the effect of apex predators on an ecosystem is the dramatic changes in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem recorded after the gray wolf was reintroduced to Yellowstone National Park in 1995. Elk, the wolves’ primary prey, became less abundant and changed their behavior, freeing riparian zones from constant grazing and allowing willows, aspens and cottonwoods to flourish, creating habitats for beaver, moose and scores of other species. 2, record 18, English, - top%20predator

For instance, the Lightning Snake has the head of a wolf, an animal revered for it's hunting prowess. I have a thick fur coat that allows me to stand on the tundra when a strong, cold wind is blowing and it’s -35ºC. The most controversial bit of advice Naomi Wolf gave Al Gore was that he shed his Beta male persona in order to successfully usurp the Alpha male now in the White House. Gore's problem is now trying to sell himself as a powerful, deminant, controlled super-male. If Gore really were an Alpha male, he wouldn’t need to pay someone $15, 000 a month to tell him so, and, ironically, he would’nt have been a good vice-president. What he should be doing is embracing his Beta-maleness and selling it as a welcome alternative to seven years of Alpha male weenive-rule. 1, record 46, English, - Alpha%20male
