The Lest We Forget Project is the inspiration of Blake Seward, a history teacher at Smiths Falls District Collegiate Institute, in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Concerned that the contributions of those who died serving in the First World War have been largely forgotten, Seward began researching the military history of his own great uncle, who fought and died at Passchendaele. Seward soon realized that this type of research would be an exciting way to make history come alive in the classroom. It would give students the opportunity to document the life stories of the men and women who served in the First World War. 1, record 1, English, - Lest%20We%20Forget

1, record 1, French, - Nous%20nous%20souviendrons%20d%27eux

Created in 1911, the Canadian Postal Corps accomplished the astounding feat of maintaining a steady stream of mail to and from "the front" throughout the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War, and fifty years of peacekeeping.... For the men and women of the Postal Corps, the risks were great : even behind the lines, dozens died keeping human bonds alive for the Canadian Forces. 3, record 2, English, - Canadian%20Postal%20Corps
