Western Economic Diversification Canada is working to remove some of the barriers facing women in business by supporting the Women's Enterprise Initiative Loan Program. Each western province has set up its own component of this pan-western initiative. The non-profit groups offer access to a loan fund, advisory services, path finding to existing services plus a host of unique products and services tailored to meet the needs of women entrepreneurs in their province.
