A river table is composed of two pieces of live edge wood, filled in their center with epoxy or resin. Whereas live edge tables often have the natural wood edge facing outwards, river tables tend to turn the live edge inwards, so as to mimic the natural contours of a river. Because of the wood's natural curves and the endless unique ways to fill the wood gap and create the "river" appearance, river tables are one of a kind... 1, record 6, English, - river%20table

3, record 70, French, - bois%20d%27ing%C3%A9nierie

Inspired in 1981 by the search for nine year old Jimmy Beveridge in southern California, this program was initiated by Ab Taylor to teach children how to survive in the woods if they ever become lost. The program focuses on the most basic and vital survival principles and although specifically designed for children between the ages of 7 and 11, it can be effective with slightly younger and older children as well. Hug-A-Tree and Survive" is a children's Search and Rescue(SAR) prevention program aimed at children from kindergarden to Grade 6. The main purpose of this program is to teach them; how not to become lost in the woods; what to do if they do become lost; how not to come to harm; how they can help searchers find them. 2, record 71, English, - Hug%2DA%2DTree%20and%20Survive

1, record 71, French, - Pour%20survivre%2C%20reste%20pr%C3%A8s%20d%27un%20arbre

Most musical instrument wood is dried to a 7% to 10% moisture content. However, the wood will forever allow moisture to pass into and out of its structure. Each variety of wood has what is called its equilibrium moisture content (EMC). This is the moisture level at which the wood is at rest naturally at a given atmospheric temperature and humidity. It is not constant. When the air is wetter, there will be moisture absorbed by the wood to a new wetter level, which is not the same amount as the moisture level in the air. 4, record 72, English, - stringed%20instrument%20wood

Since 1978, the Oceanic Flux Program(OFP) time-series sediment traps have continuously measured particle fluxes in the deep Sargasso Sea. The OFP program is by far the longest time-series of its kind, and has produced a unique record of temporal variability in the "biological pump". Results provided the first direct evidence for the existence of seasonality in the deep ocean, and evidence that fluxes of both biogenic and abiogenic materials to the deep ocean were directly linked to seasonal patterns in upper ocean productivity. The time-series particle flux record has documented significant interannual and longer timescale variability in material fluxes to the deep ocean, and in the composition of the sinking material. The record is now becoming long enough to identify and study longer-term periodicities and quasi-decadal trends in material fluxes to the deep ocean, and their coherence with North Atlantic climate variations. The Oceanic Flux Program provides new insights into interannual variability and decadal scale changes in ocean functioning. This information is of paramount importance for predicting future, possibly anthropogenically induced, climate changes. 3, record 76, Spanish, - Fondo%20Monetario%20Internacional

Teamwork in design is therefore maintained by a to and from relation between the individual and the common. In today’s economy, hotel operators must constantly look at the bottom-line as the first step in considering any environmental initiative. The good news is that it makes great economic sense to implement environmentally friendly "green hotel" initiatives. ... Green Suites International has refined the concept of a "green room" into the EcoRoom offering for traditional guestrooms and the Green Suites Accommodation offering for expanded lodging suites. These green guestroom solutions offer hotel operators a one-stop source for conserving water, energy and significantly reducing waste as well. EcoRooms are a great way to bring together all the pieces of the environmental economic puzzle. In addition to the environmental benefits, properties that undertake EcoRoom initiatives reap the benefits of reduced operating costs, improved guest and staff satisfaction, and enhanced public image. 3, record 83, English, - ecological%20room

The slackwater darter uses two different, but adjacent, breeding and nonbredding habitats.... Breeding habitat is seepage water in open fields or woods. The water in the breeding area, about 4 to 8 centimeters deep, flows slowly into an adjacent stream(the nonbreeding habitat). Paris(1783), Treaty of, concluded the American Revolution. On 20 Sept. 1783 Britain acknowledged American independence and recognized a boundary along the centre of the 4 northerly Great Lakes and from Lake of the Woods "due west" to the imagined location of the Mississippi's headwaters, then South along the Mississippi River. This gave the US Niagara, Detroit and Michilimackinac, the valuable lands reserved to Indians by the Royal Proclamation of 1763. The Americans, negotiating through the French comte de Vergennes, obtained fishing rights off Newfoundland and access to the East banks of the Mississippi; in turn they promised restitution and compensation to British Loyalists. 1, record 89, English, - Treaty%20of%20Paris

1, record 89, French, - Trait%C3%A9%20de%20Paris
