The Informal Conflict Management Program(ICMP) is designed to help all employees work through conflict(e. g. grievances, harassment or group conflict situation) in an efficient manner, by offering confidential services, such as intake and referral, conflict coaching, facilitated discussions, mediation and some group processes. Employees are encouraged to consider informal methods prior to utilizing the formal systems, as intervening early in a conflict situation, and at the lowest level, will provide the best chance to resolve issues and prevent conflict escalation. 1, record 2, English, - Informal%20Conflict%20Management%20Program

1, record 2, French, - Programme%20de%20gestion%20informelle%20des%20conflits

Peace Brigades International(PBI) is a unique grassroot organization exploring and implementing nonviolent approaches to peacekeeping and support for basic human rights. By invitations, PBI sends teams of volunteers who go into areas of political repression and conflict. PBI provides protective international accompaniment for individuals and organizations who have been threatened by political violence or who are otherwise at risk. In this way, PBI enlarges the space for local activists to work for social justice and human rights, while at the same time being non-partisan : not telling them what to do, how to do it, or how their future should be formed. 1, record 9, English, - Peace%20Brigades%20International

1, record 9, French, - Peace%20Brigades%20International

Canada Public Service Agency, Office of Public Service Values and Ethics, 2006. Public servants in the Government of Canada are required to be as concerned with preventing apparent conflicts of interest as they are with preventing real and potential conflicts of interest. This paper was developed to contribute to a better understanding of the meaning and significance of apparent conflict of interest, given its implications for the integrity of government, the public service, and individual public servants. The paper is intended to be of use to public servants and public service managers, but will also be of value to members of the public, especially those who work with the public service, to understand the special duties that public servants are required to uphold. 1, record 14, English, - Apparent%20Conflict%20of%20Interest

1, record 14, French, - Le%20conflit%20d%27int%C3%A9r%C3%AAts%20apparent

Each year, many Canadian children are affected by the separation or divorce of their parents. The negative consequences for children are aggravated if parents become involved in protracted conflict over separation. While governments cannot eliminate such conflict, reforming the family justice system is one way to help children and their parents adjust to a new family situation. Family justice reform has been an issue of broad public discussion in recent years. The Government of Canada's Child-centred Family Justice Strategy has grown out of extensive work on family justice reform, including research, consultations and ongoing collaborative work with the provinces and territories. 1, record 15, English, - Child%2Dcentred%20Family%20Justice%20Strategy

1, record 15, French, - Strat%C3%A9gie%20de%20justice%20familiale%20ax%C3%A9e%20sur%20l%27enfant
