Digital disruption is the change that occurs when new digital technologies and business models affect the value proposition of existing goods and services. The rapid increase in the use of mobile devices for personal use and work, a shift sometimes referred to as the consumerization of IT [information technology], has increased the potential for digital disruption across many industries. 2, record 1, English, - digital%20disruption

The application of confocal laser scanning microscopy(CLSM) has provided a powerful non-destructive method to biofilm research. CLSM application to biofilm work... enabled complex microbial communities to be visualised in-situ revealing their most intricate architecture and organisation without disruption caused by fixation. One major advantage of applying CLSM to biofilm study is its ability to obtain optical thin sections of fully hydrated biofilms. CLSM coupled with fluorescence methods and image analysis provides images with better resolution thus giving more information pertaining to biofilm composition. 3, record 4, English, - optical%20thin%20section

2, record 4, French, - section%20optique%20mince

Daniel Yergin, one of the editors of the report of the energy project at the Harvard Business School, differentiates between three types of conservation : first, curtailment or enforced energy saving; secondly, overhaul, i. e., dramatically changing the way people live and work; and finally... "productive conservation, which encourages changes in capital stock and daily behavior that promote energy savings in a manner that is economically and socially nondisruptive. Its aim is to use less energy than has been the habit to accomplish some task-whether it be to heat a home or to make a widget-in order to prevent disruption later.
