The International Textile, Garment and Leather Workers’ Federation(ITGLWF) is a Global Union Federation bringing together 217 affiliated organisations in 110 countries. La Fédération internationale des travailleurs du textile, de l'habillement et du cuir (FITTHC) est un secrétariat professionnel international qui rassemble 220 organisations affiliées dans 110 pays, pour un total de plus de 10 millions de travailleurs membres. A transnational programme to synthesize the best of research and development into the nature of human learning, and to examine its implications for education, work and the development of communities worldwide. The 21st Century Initiative was sparked... at the November, 1994 Wingspread Conference, in which participants decided that the goals of Education 2000 could best be met by a transnational organization collecting, synthesizing and disseminating the best research and practice on learning and education from around the world. The Initiative was registered in June, 1996, as a 501(c)(3) organization in the United States.
