The Agreement on Internal Trade(AIT) is an intergovernmental agreement signed by Canadian First Ministers that came into force in 1995. Its purpose is to foster improved interprovincial trade by addressing obstacles to the free movement of persons, goods, services and investments within Canada. It has always been a recognized employer’s prerogative to fix the hours of work of his/her employees, within certain limits laid down by law. In some jurisdictions, the maximum workweek seems to be an absolute maximum whereby employees may not be permitted to work any hours in excess of those stipulated. In other cases, employees may not be required to work any excess hours, which means that in practice the employees can refuse the overtime work scheduled for them. Some jurisdictions also give employees the right to refuse overtime if they do not receive adequate notice or if they face a personal emergency.

extra duty(or extra work) : Refers to an additional work, i. e. an activity which is outside of the normal parameters of an employee's position, and not to the time spent to excute some work. It can be executed during normal working hours or during overtime. It can be compensated by earning compensatory time or through overtime pay.

For insurance purposes, we are not allowed to give extra points for "risk" anymore. It evolved into "courage" and then into bonus points. It seems to me that too many girls(and their coaches) have assumed that they can get very high scores for not much work.

The old bonus rules (ROV) did not really apply to the world class gymnasts; they were all capable of getting bonus [points]. Now only the best will get "max bonus". Certain events are more difficult than others to get bonus [points] but now the better gymnast should score higher. Men’s vaulting does require distance for bonus -- minimum required distance for no deduction, 2.5 meters; bonus awarded for distance beyond 3.5 meters.
