What is quiet quitting? Despite the name, it actually has nothing to do with quitting your job. It means doing only what your job demands and nothing more. Quitting doing anything extra. You still show up for work, but stay strictly within the boundaries of your job requirements. So no more helping out with additional tasks or checking emails outside work hours. 2, record 1, English, - quiet%20quitting

The Agreement on Internal Trade(AIT) is an intergovernmental agreement signed by Canadian First Ministers that came into force in 1995. Its purpose is to foster improved interprovincial trade by addressing obstacles to the free movement of persons, goods, services and investments within Canada. The establishment of the AIT marks a significant achievement in helping to remove the existing interprovincial trade barriers, prevent the establishment of new barriers and harmonise interprovincial standards. These actions reduce extra costs to Canadian businesses by making internal trade more efficient, increasing market access for Canadian companies and facilitating work mobility for tradespeople and professionals. 1, record 10, English, - Agreement%20on%20Internal%20Trade

1, record 10, French, - Accord%20sur%20le%20commerce%20int%C3%A9rieur

Record number: 11, Textual support number: 1 CONT
It has always been a recognized employer’s prerogative to fix the hours of work of his/her employees, within certain limits laid down by law. In some jurisdictions, the maximum workweek seems to be an absolute maximum whereby employees may not be permitted to work any hours in excess of those stipulated. In other cases, employees may not be required to work any excess hours, which means that in practice the employees can refuse the overtime work scheduled for them. Some jurisdictions also give employees the right to refuse overtime if they do not receive adequate notice or if they face a personal emergency. 7, record 11, English, - overtime

extra duty(or extra work) : Refers to an additional work, i. e. an activity which is outside of the normal parameters of an employee's position, and not to the time spent to excute some work. It can be executed during normal working hours or during overtime. It can be compensated by earning compensatory time or through overtime pay. 8, record 11, English, - overtime
