The Centre for the Prevention of Radicalization Leading to Violence(CPRLV), which was created in March 2015 by the City of Montréal with the support of the Québec government, and the active involvement of community and institutional partners, is a pioneer in Canada and North America. The Career Handbook provides global ratings assigned to occupations to further define skills, worker characteristics and other indicators related to occupations that are important for career exploration and informed career decision-making. Le Guide sur les carrières est le volet counseling de la Classification nationale des professions. La deuxième édition reflète les révisions apportées en 2001 au système de la classification. Le Guide sur les carrières présente des cotes globales attribuées aux professions qui décrivent les compétences, les caractéristiques principales du travailleur et autres indicateurs reliés aux professions. Ces cotes se révèlent importantes dans la recherche et la prise de décision dans un choix de carrière. Cette ressource de counseling est utilisée par une vaste gamme de professionnels, ainsi que par des individus qui entreprennent les planifications de carrière. La version révisée du Guide sur les carrières présente 923 profils professionnels à des fins de counseling basés sur les professions contenues dans la CNP 2001. Le format des échelles des descripteurs, des facteurs et de la présentation de l'information a été conservé.
