The Canadian Aviation Regulation Advisory Council(CARAC) has been part of the Civil Aviation rulemaking process since 1993. Its prime objective is to assess and recommend potential regulatory changes through cooperative rulemaking activities. Much work has been done during this time, with CARAC being identified by central agencies as a best practice with respect to openness and transparency. CARAC is a joint undertaking of government and the aviation community, with participation from a large number of organizations outside Transport Canada representing the overall viewpoint of the aviation community. These include management and labour organizations, representing operators and manufacturers, and professional associations. 3, record 2, English, - Canadian%20Aviation%20Regulation%20Advisory%20Council

3, record 2, French, - Conseil%20consultatif%20sur%20la%20r%C3%A9glementation%20a%C3%A9rienne%20canadienne

For hundreds of years, the French horses bred with little influence from outside breeds. They eventually developed into their own distinct breed-the Canadian Horse or Cheval Canadien. Because they evolved under the adverse conditions of harsh weather, scarce food, and hard work, the Canadian Horse remains the sturdiest and most acclimatized horse in Canada today. They are tough, strong horses, tolerant of inclement weather conditions, and are extremely “easy keepers”. Because of these traits, the Canadian Horse is often referred to as “The Little Iron Horse”. 3, record 9, English, - Canadian%20horse
