In the electromagnetic clutch, electromagnetism is used to exert a pressure force on one pressure plate to make the clutch engage. In this type, the driving plate is attached to the electric coils. When the electricity is provided into these coils then the plate work as the magnet and it attracts another plate. So both plates join when the electricity provides and the clutch is in an engaged position. When the driver cuts the electricity, this attraction force disappears, and the clutch is in the disengaged position. 1, record 1, English, - engaged%20position

The aim of this thesis work is to develop an effective cut-out reinforcement for composite sandwich fuselage shells. Because flat plate theory shows that only tangential stresses act in the vicinity of the cut-out, the proposed reinforcement concept involves fibres oriented in parallel to the edge of the cut-out. As no production process was suitable for producing the desired reinforcement, a process based on the working of simple yo-yo is designed and implemented. A preliminary assessment of the effectiveness of the reinforcement concept is made by subjecting two test plates(one reference plate and one reinforced plate) to a uniaxial tension test. 1, record 5, English, - cut%2Dout%20reinforcement

A solid-state metal joining process producing high-strength, defect-free joints in metallic materials. The process employs a pin tool with a low rotational speed and applied pressure that "mechanically stirs" two parent materials together to produce a uniform weld. 3, record 6, English, - friction%20stir%20welding
Record number: 6, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Friction stir welding uses a cylindrical, shouldered tool with a profiled pin that is rotated and slowly plunged into the joint line between two pieces of sheet or plate material, which are butted together. Frictional heat is generated between the wear resistant welding tool and the work piece. This heat causes the work piece material to soften without reaching the melting point and allows the tool to traverse the weld line. As it does, the plasticized material is transferred from the leading edge of the tool to the trailing edge of the tool shoulder and pin. It leaves a solid phase bond between the two work pieces. 2, record 6, English, - friction%20stir%20welding

3, record 6, French, - soudage%20par%20friction%2Dmalaxage

The sine plate... uses the same principle as the sine bar and is similar in construction except that it is wider. Sine bars are up to 1 in. in width, while sine plates are generally more than 2 in. wide. They have several tapped holes in the surface which permit the work to be clamped to the surface of the sine plate.
