Isometric thermogenesis : This is due to increased muscle tension(without muscle shortening) ;no physical work is actually done. For example, the differences in energy expenditure in a person who is lying, sitting, or standing are mainly due to changes in muscle tone for posture maintenance. While most physical activities consist of both dynamic and static(isometric) muscle actions, the isometric component is very often essential for the optimal performance of dynamic work given its role in coordinating posture during standing, walking and most physical activities of everyday life. 2, record 1, English, - isometric%20thermogenesis

1, record 3, French, - %C3%A9conome%20actif

The Dynamic-Miser is acting in a rational way if he has assumed this posture as a means of exploring the potential of his new work group. The Dynamic-Investor is the ideal manager, working at top effectiveness for himself and the corporation. He is involved, committed, and accepting of company values, and shares his authority with subordinates in a way that enhances both their growth and his own. Although he is promotable soon, this, too, is a transient posture, for as long as he is needed to manage the diffusion of authority in the work group, his promotion will not be in the best interest of the corporation. 1, record 5, English, - dynamic%2Dinvestor

L'investisseur dynamique. 1, record 5, French, - investisseur%20dynamique
