BORDERPOL, or the World Border Organization as it is sometimes called, is an international, independent, non-profit organization founded in 2003. It is the only global organization where its members are devoted to the betterment of the interdisciplinary border management community taking into account the economic, social, demographic, fiscal, and other impacts of border security and human mobility.

This will reduce border transaction costs for Canadian exporters, directly benefitting small and medium-sized businesses, for which border delays can be particularly burdensome.
