Grooming is a word used to describe how people who want to sexually harm children and young people get close to them, and often their families, and gain their trust. Grooming in the real world can take place in all kinds of places – in the home or local neighbourhood, the child's school, youth and sports clubs or the church. Online grooming may occur by people forming relationships with children and pretending to be their friend. They do this by finding out information about their potential victim and trying to establish the likelihood of the child telling. It is often played as a casual game with a stick and a ball, but it has a proper set of rules. It is played 9-a-side, and each side has two innings. The batsmen use a wooden bat called a stick and try to score rounders. The bowler bowls with a smooth underarm action from a distance of 24 1/2 feet(7. 5 m). The four bases are posts 3 ft. 11 in.(1. 2 m) high. The batsman tries to hit the ball and then run around the outside of the posts to the fourth post in order to score a rounder. To score, you have to reach the fourth post on your own hit. If you stop at a post, you may run home when a teammate hits the ball, but you do not score. You join the end of the batting line. You can be out if the ball is caught, or if a fielder touches you or the post with the ball. When all the batsmen are out, the innings is over.

In 1991, in order to publicize Japan's regime of enforced prostitution during the Second World War, activists started to collect data about the women victims of sexual slavery. After 50 years of silence, women survivors, in their 70s and 80s, came forward to demand justice and redress. One of the main outcomes of this lengthy and sustained documentation work was the Women's International War Crimes Tribunal on Japanese Military Sexual Slavery. The Tokyo Tribunal, as it came to be called, was held in December 2000 in Tokyo. The Tribunal was attended by 70 victims and more than 1100 participants. The final judgment was passed in December 2001, at a Women'sInternational Tribunal held in The Hague, Netherlands.

The combination of heat and pollution gave a "sense of foreboding" ... [and provoked] apprehensions about ecological dangers .... Ecophobia ... is not likely to disappear ... [because] there is sufficient cause for fear about almost every aspect of the human environment.

Briefly, "ecophobia" is an irrational(often hysterical) and groundless hatred of the natural world, or aspects of it. Such fear of the agency of Nature plays out in many spheres. The personal hygiene industry relies on it, since capital-driven notions about personal cleanliness assign us preference for perfumes(for some more than others) over natural bodily odors; the cosmetic industry(in its passion for covering up Nature's "flaws" and "blemishes") uses it; beauticians and barbers(in their military passion for cutting back natural growths) are sustained by it; city sanitation boards display it in their demands that residents keep grass short to prevent the introduction of "vermin" and "pests" into urban areas; landscaped gardens, trimmed poodles in women's handbags on the Seoul subway system--anything that amputates or seeks to amputate the agency of Nature and to assert a human order on a system that follows different orders is, in essence, ecophobic. Ecophobia is a subtle thing that takes many forms.

The first world championship in our sport was organized in 1987 in France, and eight national shooting federations founded the "Union Internationale des Federations et Associations Nationales de Tir" on 7th July 1907 in Zurich, Switzerland... The French title of the "International Union of National Federations and Associations of Shooting" started to use the initials, UIT. This union was dissolved in 1915 during World War I but was reorganized in 1921 under the new name of "Union Internationale de Tir", also using the initials, UIT. After World War II had started, the activities of the Union were again suspended and then reorganized in 1947 under the new name, "International Shooting Union", using the title in the English language which from then on was decided to be the official working language of the organization. The initials of the International Shooting Union would have been ISU, but our organization had to continue using the letters of its French title, UIT, in order not to confuse it with the initials used in the international sport world by the International Skating Union... The change of the title "Union" to International Shooting Sport Federation(ISSF) in order to conform to almost all the other sporting organisations was officially approved at the General Assembly in Barcelona, Spain on 15th July 1998.

Spectra are obtained over a usable range from approximately 20 nm to 200 nm by scanning the exit slit of the spectrometer at wavelength intervals as small as 0. 1 pm in first order. The beamline leading to the entrance slit of the VHRS includes three cylindrical uncoated glass mirrors with incident angles of 80, 70, and 80 degrees from the normal to provide a converging beam to match the f/number of the instrument which is about f/50. Since 1990, when the three-mirror light collection system was improved, a number of high resolution measurements have been made in the region between 40 nm and 120 nm.

A vast amount of sea ice information is today available at the various ice services in the world. Almost all of this information is stored in the form of ice charts for operational purposes. For statistical or climatological use the chart format is however not convenient and the information needs to be digitized. This is done by assigning numerical values to the ice parameters and to read these values at given grid points on the chart. The charts prepared by the various ice services do not all contain the same number of parameters. The resolution and accuracy also vary according to the use for which the charts are intended. A large degree of flexibility has therefore to be built into the design of both code, format and grid. It should allow digitization of historical ice charts as well as current ones in order to obtain a comprehensive computer-compatible sea ice data bank which is currently updated. The SIGRID format is mainly designed to meet larger scale climate requirements but it may also be used by national services for other purposes.

The water lily pond is built to house beautiful water lilies(hardy + tropical), marginal plants and lotus. This is a complete world with 1, 000's of plants to choose from. These ponds require a minimum of 4-6 hours of sunlight, usually, in order for the majority of plants to thrive(shade or partial shade is fine for fish and fountains). Raccoons can eat your water lilies. Prevention would be to build the sides of the pond quite steep and keep the plants deep enough to prevent easy wading.

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. The holiday was first proclaimed on 5 May 1868, by General John Logan in his General Order No. 11, and was first observed on 30 May 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers. The South refused to acknowledge Decoration Day, honoring their dead on separate days until after World War I. It is now celebrated in almost every state on the last Monday in May.
