The Ninth International Pyrheliometer Comparison(IPC-IX), conjointly held with Regional Pyrheliometer Comparisons(RPCs), was carried out at the World Radiation Center(WRC/PMOD) Davos, Switzerland... In total 65 radiation experts from 39 WMO Member countries participated and 85 pyrheliometers have successfully been calibrated despite unfavourable weather conditions.

World Radiation Data Center deals with the collection and processing of solar radiation data obtained at the World Radiation Network stations.

The World Radiation Data Centre (WRDC) is one of specialized World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Data Centres located at Voeikov Main Geophysical Observatory (MGO). The WRDC had been founded in 1964 and since that time it continuously collects, processes, archives and distributes solar radiation data received at the world radiometric network. The WRDC is issuing periodic bulletin "Solar Radiation and Radiation Balance Data. The World Network".
