Everything that we can see and touch is made up of particles, the basic building blocks of nature. Particles like protons, neutrons, and electrons compose the atoms of the computer or phone you are touching right now.... Many technologies we commonly use today are the results of research spin-off from particle physics. These byproducts were developed to build and run experiments or to support the activities of the particle physics community. Two impactful examples include medical scanners used in hospitals and the World Wide Web. As against the true owner, whose property had been disposed of by a stranger behind his back, there would have been no equity in giving him an action; but as against all the world except the true owner his "better right" was recognized by the preemptor, who accorded to him also a vindication proceeding on a fiction of completed usucapion, for usucapion cured the defect of his title, just as it did that of the bonitarian owner. 1, record 14, English, - bonitarian%20owner

Every drug receives three distinct names : the chemical name, the generic(or nonproprietary) name, and the brand(or proprietary or trademark) name.... The generic name is commonly used by health care professionals and is usually created when a new drug is ready to be marketed. Although the manufacturer or sponsor of the drug has exclusive right of manufacture during the 17 years of the drug's patent, it never owns the generic name.... In the United States, the generic name must first be approved by the U. S. Adopted Name(USAN) Council and then by the World Health Organization(WHO).... After approving the generic name, the Council submits the name to WHO, which has final approval.... After being approved by WHO, the drug is assigned an international nonproprietary name. 6, record 15, English, - nonproprietary%20name

Once a chemical substance has become frequently cited in the literature, it will be identified with simplified nomenclature popularly known as a "generic" name. This nonproprietary name is preferred in database indexing over all other types of drug nomenclature. MEDLINE [registered trademark] cites the United States Adopted Name (USAN) as a standard, when available. USANs are officially approved designations adopted by the FDA for uniformity in labeling and regulatory references. EMBASE®, on the other hand, prefers International Nonproprietary Names (INNs), promulgated by the World Health Organization, as drug descriptors. Caution: the USAN and INN "generic" name for the same drug may differ. Other official nomenclature standards include: British Approved Name (BAN), Nordiska Farmakopenamden (NFN), and Dénomination Commune Francaise (DCF). 7, record 15, English, - nonproprietary%20name

The learning theory of Thorndike represents the original S-R framework of behavioral psychology: Learning is the result of associations forming between stimuli and responses. Such associations or "habits" become strengthened or weakened by the nature and frequency of the S-R pairings. The paradigm for S-R theory was trial and error learning in which certain responses come to dominate others due to rewards. 3, record 23, English, - trial%20and%20error%20learning

5, record 25, English, - international%20nonproprietary%20name

Shiploaders are normally used in pairs with one man operating each loader. Grain is conveyed to the top of the shiploader and falls by gravity through a large spout into the ship's hold. These machines can normally swing from left to right, extend the boom and telescope and rotate the vertical spout. The operator, who sits in a cab mounted on top of the shiploader, can move the loader either up or down or backwards and forwards allowing it to reach into all parts of the ship's hold. The general principle is that any assumption that leads you to a contradiction must be false. Thus, if you can deduce a contradiction(using valid rules of inference) from a certain assumption, it is legitimate to conclude that the assumption is false. Indirect proof is an extremely useful method, both in logic and in the real world. In real world arguments, if you can start from your opponent's premises and derive a contradiction from them(which is frequently possible), it is a very powerful refutation of the opponent's position. It is because of the usefulness of IP(indirect proof) that I have decided to introduce it right away. 1, record 32, English, - indirect%20proof
