Psychological autopsy is a specialized investigative method used to analyze the circumstances surrounding equivocal deaths, particularly suicides.... this process involves a thorough review of medical autopsy reports, police documentation, personal materials left by the deceased, and interviews with friends and family. The goal is to reconstruct the deceased's psychological state and motivations leading to their death, providing insights that can aid medical examiners and law enforcement. This technique has gained traction in the field of suicidology and is utilized in various countries around the world. 3, record 1, English, - psychological%20autopsy

The Geneva Convention is another treaty that was established shortly after World War II, but it was the first attempt to address jurisdictional differences regarding aircraft security interests. After the war, aircraft manufacturing nations became concerned about the reluctance of financial institutions to invest in aircraft without assurance that their interests were secure, especially when the equipment was outside the state of registry. As a remedy, the Geneva Convention(not to be confused with the Geneva Conventions of global war law) was signed on June 19, 1948, and went into force on September 17, 1953. It is officially known as the Convention on the International Recognition of Rights in Aircraft and is meant to facilitate financing and to recognize property basis and conditions for aircraft sales. 3, record 5, English, - Convention%20on%20the%20International%20Recognition%20of%20Rights%20in%20Aircraft

The flagship urban-development project of the NCC in the last several decades has been Confederation Boulevard-the Capital' s ceremonial and discovery route. In collaboration with federal and municipal partners, the NCC designed and constructed this 7. 5-kilometre route around the heart of Canada's Capital Region. Aside from providing an elegant streetscape for some of the most important sites and institutions of the nation, the Boulevard is a focus for year-round national celebrations, events and interpretation programs that help people to discover important aspects of Canada's government, culture, heritage, landscape and relations with other nations of the world. The idea for a ceremonial route in the heart of the Capital goes back to the 19th century. However, it was not until 1967-centennial year-that planners began to talk about a ceremonial route for processions and state visits, as a unifying element in the core areas of Ottawa, Ontario, and Hull(now Gatineau), Quebec, and as a vehicle for communicating the Capital of Canadians. Planning began in 1982 and construction in 1985. The central part of Confederation Boulevard was officially opened by Prime Minister Jean Chrétien on June 30, 2000. The last phase of three-phase construction will be completed in 2006. 1, record 11, English, - Confederation%20Boulevard

The New York Mercantile Exchange(NYMEX) is the world's largest physical commodity futures exchange located in New York City. Its two principal divisions are the New York Mercantile Exchange and the New York Commodities Exchange(COMEX) which were once independent companies but are now merged. The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. is currently a large private company. The New York Mercantile Exchange handles billions of dollars worth of energy products, metals, and other commodities being bought and sold on the trading floor and the overnight electronic trading computer system. The prices quoted for transactions on the exchange are the basis for prices that people pay for throughout the world. In 1933, the COMEX was established through the merger of four smaller exchanges : the National Metal Exchange, the Rubber Exchange of New York, the National Raw Silk Exchange, and the New York Hide Exchange. On august 3, 1994, the NYMEX and COMEX finally merged under the NYMEX. Now, the NYMEX operates in a state of the art trading facility and office building with two trading floors in the World Financial Center in downtown Manhattan. 3, record 36, English, - New%20York%20Mercantile%20Exchange

The Marshall Plan, known officially following its enactment as the European Recovery Program(ERP), was the primary plan of the United States to promote the recovery of Europe and to advance American foreign and domestic economic policies after World War II. The initiative was named for United States Secretary of State George Marshall and was largely the creation of State Department officials, especially William L. Clayton and George F. Kennan. The reconstruction plan was developed at a meeting of the participating European States in July 1947. The Soviet Union and the states of Eastern Europe were invited, but Stalin saw the plan as a threat and did not allow the participation of any countries under Soviet control. The plan was in operation for four fiscal years beginning in July 1947. 4, record 38, English, - European%20Recovery%20Program

1, record 38, Spanish, - Plan%20de%20Recuperaci%C3%B3n%20Econ%C3%B3mica%20Europea

DOUGLAS, Douglas Sea State. Douglas Sea Scale. Douglas Scale. Douglas Swell Scale. Douglas Sea and Swell Scale.... what do they mean? Douglas is the name given to a set of tables used to describe sea and swell conditions. The Douglas Sea tables refer to the waves generated by the wind in the locality at the time, the Douglas Swell tables refer to decaying waves originally generated by distant winds, and the Douglas Sea and Swell tables are a combination of the two. Originally, Douglas made no mention of heights or wave periods, and used only words to define the sea and swell conditions, e. g., slight sea, moderate sea or long low swell, short moderate swell. The combined definition was produced by a sea description followed by a swell description. But different publications have interpreted the Douglas Scales to produce wave heights and periods; and different interpretations have led to confusion. According to the World Meteorological Organisation, there is no internationally recognised definition or official status for any of the Douglas scales. 2, record 43, English, - Douglas%20scale

WMO Meteorological codes are defined by the World Meteorological Organization in WMO Manual No. 306. The codes are composed of a set of values defined in tables with reference to specific position within strings of information. These defined values make up a code form and binary codes are made up of groups of letters representing meteorological or other geophysical elements. Different code forms are used to represent different types of observations or products. In messages, these groups of letters are transcribed into figures indicating the value of state of the elements described. The National Weather Service and other U. S. governmental agencies have developed additional codes and identification structures as supplements to the WMO codes and message identification systems. 3, record 50, English, - meteorological%20code

Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. An odd aspect of Quantum Mechanics is contained in the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle(HUP). The HUP can be stated in different ways, let me first talk in terms of momentum and position. If there is a particle, such as an electron, moving through space, I can characterize its motion by telling you where it is(its position) and what its velocity is(more precisely, its momentum). Now, let me say something strange about what happens when I try to measure its positions and momentum. In the Quantum Mechanical world, the idea that we can measure things exactly breaks down. Let me state this notion more precisely. Suppose a particle has momentum p and a position x. In a Quantum Mechanical world, I would not be able to measure p and x precisely. There is an uncertainty associated with each measurement, e. g. there is some dp and dx, which I can never get rid of even in a perfect experiment!!!. This is due to the fact that whenever I make a measurement, I must disturb the system.(In order for me to know something is there, I must bump into it.) The size of the uncertainties are not independent, they are related... 2, record 56, English, - Heisenberg%20uncertainty%20principle

1, record 56, French, - principe%20d%27incertitude%20d%27Eisenberg

International regimes are sometimes compared to so-called servitudes, which is a term used in international law on an analogy with Roman law to mean a charge on premises in favour of the owner of another piece of land. In international law the term refers to permanent restriction on the jurisdiction over a piece of territory in favour of rights conceded to another State. Examples can be seen in the difference between the frontiers which are drawn for political and for customs purposes in various parts of the world. 2, record 61, English, - international%20servitude

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. The holiday was first proclaimed on 5 May 1868, by General John Logan in his General Order No. 11, and was first observed on 30 May 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers. The South refused to acknowledge Decoration Day, honoring their dead on separate days until after World War I. It is now celebrated in almost every state on the last Monday in May. 2, record 66, English, - Memorial%20Day

... upon the outbreak of the First World War in 1914, it was found, as a matter of practical exigency, that the only one commanding acceptance by all States was the theory of sovereignty of the subjacent State over the air space to an unlimited height, i. e. usque ad coelum. this was adopted and enforced not merely by the belligerents, but also by neutral States. The difference between extinction through the principle rebus sic stantibus and lapse through non-applicability becomes important when the preceding territorial situation is revived, or when in some other way the treaty once again becomes of practical importance through some succeeding change of circumstances. For an extinct treaty cannot revive; whereas a lapsed treaty may do so. After the First World War notices reviving the Anglo-Austrian Treaty of 1873 were given to Austria and Hungary; but a new treaty was entered into in 1924 with Czechoslovakia, a new state created out of the territory of Austria-Hungary. 1, record 79, English, - lapse

1, record 79, French, - caducit%C3%A9

Surely a government such as that of General Franco which considers itself to be the legal government of Spain cannot, as it seems to me, sit passively by while the proceedings are in process and would have the duty towards itself to contest the legitimation of its rival as party to the proceedings or, rather, on grounds of deeper principle, to attack the validity of the special agreement itself as having been concluded by an "illegal government". 1, record 80, English, - legal%20government

It is sometimes asserted that a state may exist even though it has no territory, and in this connection instances of the governments in exile during the World War II are cited. This, however, is not a true illustration because the cases of the governments in exile are merely examples of lawful governments functioning from another country during continuance of military operations. The dispossession of the lawful government by the invader pendente bello is no more than an incident of military operations. 2, record 80, English, - legal%20government
