EVA Gloves(left and right). If you look at the bottom of an EVA glove, you’ll see that it has a ring. This ring is used to snap onto the sleeve of the upper torso. It also contains a wrist bearing that is used to help the astronaut rotate his hand. On the opposite end of the glove are rubber finger caps. The scientists chose silicone rubber so that the astronauts could have some sense of touch when working with equipment and tools. Along the gloves are loops. Tethers connected to small tools can be latched onto the loops to prevent the items from floating off into space. The astronauts also like to wear thin fabric comfort gloves with wristlets band of materials worn for warmth within their EVA gloves. 3, record 2, English, - EVA%20glove

The vacuum-drive heading indicator is the simplest of many types of gyro-controlled directional indicators designed to provide stable heading reference.... Errors. The chief cause of precession, causing the card to creep or drift, is bearing friction. Normal movement of the gimbal rings produces friction, which is increased if the bearings are worn, dirty, or improperly lubricated. Other sources of precession error include unbalanced gyro components and the effect of the earth's rotation. The latter effect depends upon the position of the instrument in relation to the earth, and is not appreciable unless a flight involves considerable change in latitude. 1, record 3, English, - unbalanced

Garde-cap. 3, record 3, French, - balourd%C3%A9
