Behavioral activation is primarily used in the treatment of depressive symptomatology. Fatigue generated by the illness, as well as negative-focused thinking patterns and expectations of the worst, will lead to avoidance of many situations and actions. The out of battery firing is one of the worst possible catastrophic failures that can happen with a firearm. It occurs when a cartridge is, for whatever reason, not completely locked in the chamber of the weapon when it goes off. An out of battery firing can completely destroy a weapon and cause fragments to fly off and injure nearby shooters, and therefore manufacturers take great pains to incorporate mechanical safeties that prevent them. 2, record 12, English, - out%2Dof%2Dbattery%20firing

This moth, common in Great Britain and Canada's West Coast, is often found in combination with the brown house moth. It is usually considered to be more of a stored product pest and less of a scavenger than the latter. The adult is easily recognized by its conspicuous white head and thorax. The forewings are greyish-white with darker areas. The males have a wing-spread of about 1.2 centimetres and the females about 2 centimetres. Most of the adults are females, each of which lays about 100 eggs. Like the brown house moth, the females vary in size and the larger females lay more eggs. The eggs, dull white in colour, are laid in cracks and crevices and often adhere together. The larva, which requires a relative humidity of at least 80% for development, is about 1.2 centimetres in length and waxy-white in colour. The head and adjoining portion of the back of the adult are reddish-brown. This moth has no dormant stage and under summer conditions and 90% relative humidity, the life of this species takes about 62 days. 1, record 13, English, - white%2Dshouldered%20house%20moth

1, record 13, French, - %26oelig%3Bcophore%20%C3%A0%20%C3%A9paulettes

McMaster University explained that the building was designed to withstand an extremely low-probability event producing 60 pounds of steam(or an increase in pressure in the containment of 1/2 psi). The Commission questioned McMaster University on the nature of the accident scenarios used in the revised safety analysis. McMaster University responded that it looked at a number of events considered at other small Canadian research reactors, but concentrated on a very low probability event(10-6) that involves a blockage of cooling water flow through the core that leads to fuel damage. 1, record 51, English, - extremely%20low%2Dprobability%20event

Dust Bowl refers to a series of destructive wind and dust storms that struck the United States during the 1930's. These storms ranked among the worst environmental disasters in world history. Most of the damage occurred from 1935 to 1938 in the southern Great Plains, and so this area also became known as the Dust Bowl. Altogether, the storms damaged about 50 million acres(20 million hectares) of land, mainly in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. An additional 50 million acres were endangered before conservation measures began to take effect. 1, record 55, English, - dust%20bowl

We found that cleaning scab-infected wheat on a gravity table before storage increased the storability of 20% moisture wheat by 12 to 43%. In our corn storage tests, even though we used varieties that were believed to have wide genetic differences, the chemical compositions were too similar for our model that predicts sotrability from composition to work well. Also, we found that storability rankings(best to worst) were not consistent from one year to the next. Our machine vision work resulted in development of a new on-line calibration procedure that gives us more consistent readings under changing lighting conditions; a procedure for quantifying mold coverage on corn kernels; and a batch analysis procedure for analyzing kernel mechanical damage that is much simpler and faster, but only slightly more variable than analyzing kernels one at a time. 2, record 64, English, - gravity%20table

A system for coin grading using a combination of letters and numbers, instead of an adjectival scale, to express the state of a coin. It was conceived in the late 1940's by Dr. William H. Sheldon who devised a numerical scale, on which 1 represented the worst possible condition of preservation of an unmutilated coin, while 70 was the best possible condition. Used in conjunction with the most common abbreviations that describe coins verbally, it gives a precise idea of the degree of wear of a coin. 1, record 71, English, - Sheldon%20Grading%20System

Anger does not disappear if we refuse to deal with it : it continues to grow within us. If we deal with it indirectly, we easily trap ourselves into polarization, passivity, "gunnysacking", name-calling, blaming, gaming, and viewing ourselves and our adversary as weak and fragile. 1, record 93, French, - crit%C3%A8re%20du%20minimax
