Ever heard of creative writing jogging? What? Never? I agree, it is a relatively unknown sport but essential for your creativity! And creativity is a muscle that needs to be trained on a daily basis. The principle of creative writing jogging is simple : a short, repeated workout. The students write for a maximum of [seven] minutes and a few volunteers present their texts to the class. The aim is not to write stories, but short texts that meet a specific set of instructions. 2, record 1, English, - writing%20jogging

New Journalism [is] an American literary movement in the 1960s and the [1970s] that pushed the boundaries of traditional journalism and nonfiction writing. The genre combined journalistic research with the techniques of fiction in the reporting of stories about real-life events. 2, record 2, English, - New%20Journalism

What is meant by the inverted pyramid, basically, is that you lay out the facts in descending order of importance. It is the standard narrative, inverted. Instead of beginning with a problem, such as a murder in a mystery story, and ending with the resolution, you tell the resolution in the beginning, then move steadily backwards to where the narrative normally would begin.... A major reason for writing news stories in the inverted pyramid form is so the bottom can be cut without eliminating some crucial detail. 1, record 4, English, - inverted%20pyramid
