Power Cutting, Inc., under contract to GPU Nuclear, has engineered, fabricated, and tested an automated cutting equipment system(ACES) to conduct the cutting of the LCSA [lower core support assembly]. The cutting system will include plasma arc cutting, rotary grinding, and abrasive water jetting. It will be a system consisting of a support frame, movable carriage, and trolley for horizontal x, y direction control, and a movable vertical z axis robotic telescoping arm supported on the trolley/carriage arrangement. The support frame, carriage, trolley, and robotic arm will be set on and above the LCSA, submerged in [approximately] 35 ft of reactor coolant. The mainframe of a heavy or medium-duty truck or tractor consists of a pair of C-section rails running the vehicle’s length ... joined by C-, T-, L- or hat-section crossmembers. ... "Resisting bending moment," or RBM [is] measured in inch-pounds. RBM describes the frame’s ability to withstand twisting forces as well as its carrying ability ... A road tractor’s frame might be built with an RBM of 1.3 million to 1.6 million inch-pounds, while a quad-rear-axle dump truck’s frame might have an RBM of 3 million inch-pounds. Yes, those are torque values, because torque is what’s applied to the frame as the vehicle rocks and rolls its way over a jobsite or roadway, and its load pulls and pushes on the frame. 6, record 9, English, - resisting%20bending%20moment

Different diffusion coefficients may be defined depending on the choice of the frame of reference used for the amount of species flowing through unit area in unit time and the concentration gradient of species. ... the Mac, through QuickTime, shrinks the video image to a small size(160 X 120 pixels) to reduce the amount of video data required for each frame of video.... QuickTime also provides users with a variety of compressors for specific types of files-still images, video, animation, and so on. These compressors allow you to reduce your QuickTime clips’ file size, which can get enormous(the average uncompressed file size of our 30-second test clip was 16 megabytes). The compressors employ spatial compression to reduce the file size of each individual frame and temporal compression to reduce the amount of data repeated across a group of frames. 1, record 12, English, - spatial%20compression

[Video digitizing cards] All the cards do have a capacity for controlled capture : The card captures a frame; the source device advances to the next frame, which is then digitized; and so on. This type of capturing requires not only a special capture application but also a video-source device with a serial port through which it can be controlled. The advantage of controlled capture is that cards that cannot capture 30 fps in real time, even at 160 X 120 pixels, can capture 30 fps at much larger window sizes with controlled capture, because the card can take as much time as it needs to digitize each frame before moving to the next. 1, record 13, English, - controlled%20capture

The frame size on 35 mm perforated film of an area 17. 5 x 23 mm. This is the standard 35 mm silent motion-picture frame size, and is also used for horizontal viewing as the frame size for filmstrips. Filmstrips are usually produced with special cameras. The same size image is also produced by normal half-frame cameras using standard 35 mm film, and producing twice the normal number of exposures per roll(i. e., 40) on a standard 20-exposure roll. As a comparison, the normal frame size(projected area of the film) for a 35 mm camera using perforated film is 23 x 34 mm, and is called double-frame size. 1, record 18, English, - single%20frame

1, record 18, French, - format%20normal
