Ratio charts are also called semilogarithmic or semilog charts. This particular chart is designed with an arithmetic scale(equal-unit scale) along the X axis, and one or more logarithmic cycles along the Y axis.... The general principles and mechanical details of drawing the data points and the data path are identical to the procedures for any line chart. 5, record 1, English, - ratio%20chart
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
The interpretation of information mapped onto a semilog(ratio) chart is, therefore, somewhat different from the ordinary arithmetic line graph. The important difference is this : the slope of the data path on a ratio chart reveals the rate(percentage change) at which the Y variable is changing per unit of X.... the ratio chart(semilogarithmic variety) is measuring percentage change in the Y variable only. Since the X scale is arithmetic, changes in the X portion of the data path are arithmetic, not ratio(or percentage) changes. Semilog(ratio) charts are usually employed to graph data... when a Y variable changes by a large amount in a relatively short range of the X variable. 5, record 1, English, - ratio%20chart

4, record 1, French, - graphique%20semi%2Dlogarithmique

There are tow types of matrix multiplication : scalar-by-matrix multiplication and matrix-by-matrix multiplication. As a noun, a scalar is a single number or scale factor that all the matrix elements are multiplied by in scalar multiplication. This is used to scale down all the elements of a matrix in equal proportion. In graphics, this is used on row and column vectors that represent points in space. It moves a point radially toward or away from the origin(0, 0, 0). This is often done to put the values of x, y, and z within a range that graphics routines can more easily handle, especially when integer arithmetic is being performed. 1, record 2, English, - scalar%2Dby%2Dmatrix%20multiplication
