What is a healthy weight? If you asked a fitness trainer he or she might say, "The weight at which you look and feel your best, or the weight at which you perform your best. "If you ask your doctor the reply might be, "the weight range for a given height that corresponds to the lowest risk of disease or early mortality. "These are all good answers. Speaking from the health standpoint, a healthy weight is that weight which gives you the best health and the best chance for a long, enjoyable life. 4, record 1, English, - normal%20weight

6, record 1, French, - poids%20normal

Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. An odd aspect of Quantum Mechanics is contained in the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle(HUP). The HUP can be stated in different ways, let me first talk in terms of momentum and position. If there is a particle, such as an electron, moving through space, I can characterize its motion by telling you where it is(its position) and what its velocity is(more precisely, its momentum). Now, let me say something strange about what happens when I try to measure its positions and momentum. In the Quantum Mechanical world, the idea that we can measure things exactly breaks down. Let me state this notion more precisely. Suppose a particle has momentum p and a position x. In a Quantum Mechanical world, I would not be able to measure p and x precisely. There is an uncertainty associated with each measurement, e. g. there is some dp and dx, which I can never get rid of even in a perfect experiment!!!. This is due to the fact that whenever I make a measurement, I must disturb the system.(In order for me to know something is there, I must bump into it.) The size of the uncertainties are not independent, they are related... 2, record 2, English, - Heisenberg%20uncertainty%20principle

1, record 2, French, - principe%20d%27incertitude%20d%27Eisenberg

On a comparable basis, or any number of expressions along those lines. Simply means the companies(subsidiaries etc.) consolidated are unchanged, or that account has been taken of changes in the comparison. It means "at constant scope of consolidation" or "at comparable structure". You can say simply "on a comparable basis" or "on a like-for-like basis", but then you leave some question as to what adjustments have been made(e. g. have exchange rates been held constant as well?). 1, record 3, English, - on%20a%20comparable%20basis

Global standards will have to focus more on the what than the how. Performance-based standards, standards that define how you are supposed to do something are very restrictive because they stifle innovation and... cause all kinds of problems in the marketplace. So ultimately, you are going to have to say... what it is you want to accomplish with the standard and then let the marketplace or the supplying industries decide what is the best way to deliver that. 1, record 4, English, - performance%2Dbased%20standard

1, record 4, French, - norme%20ax%C3%A9e%20sur%20la%20performance
