The Youth Apprenticeship Program for Landscape Horticulture(Ontario Region) is a one-year project providing academic and life skills training to 50 youth of whom 20% will be persons with disabilities. This program will combine practical, hands-on training at a landscape training centre, on-the-job experience with a horticultural firm, and certification of successful participants in keeping with the accreditation process currently being developed by the industry.
