Canadian Rural Partnership, Pilot Projects 2000-2001. British Columbia. Federal Partner : Parks Canada. This project will develop a five-year marketing plan for the Alberni Valley Heritage Network that will attract 150, 000 people in year five, and will help the Network be self-sustainable for funding by the same year. This will strengthen and diversify the economic base in the Alberni Valley, build capacity in the community and provide opportunities for youth through seasonal employment.

Projets pilotes 2000-2001 du Partenariat rural canadien. Colombie-Britannique, partenaire fédéral : Parcs Canada. Dans le cadre de ce projet, on élaborera un plan de commercialisation quinquennal à l'intention du Réseau du patrimoine de la Vallée d'Alberni qui lui permettra de s'assurer une clientèle de 150 000 personnes en l'an cinq et qui l'aidera à acquérir une autonomie financière cette même année. Ce projet permettra de renforcer et de diversifier les assises économiques de la Vallée d'Alberni, de mettre en valeur le potentiel de la collectivité et d'offrir des possibilités de travail aux jeunes, par des emplois saisonniers.
