The Children and Youth Agenda fosters collaboration among community stakeholders and agencies to improve services to support the healthy development of children and youth. This initiative began as a partnership between the City of Ottawa and United Way/Centraide Ottawa. Le Programme des enfants et des adolescents encourage la collaboration entre les organismes et les partenaires de la collectivité en vue d’améliorer les services qui soutiennent le sain développement des enfants et des adolescents. The Young Leaders in Rural Canada Awards pay tribute and highlight outstanding contributions by young people to rural communities in the categories of Innovation, Leadership and Partnership. The annual awards seek to recognize rural youth who dedicate their passion, spirit and skills to the benefits of rural, remote and northern communities throughout Canada. Les Prix des jeunes leaders du Canada rural visent à rendre hommage aux jeunes des collectivités rurales et à souligner leurs contributions remarquables dans les catégories suivantes : Innovation, Leadership et Partenariats. Ces prix annuels permettent de reconnaître les jeunes des régions rurales qui mettent à contribution leur passion, leur esprit et leurs compétences au profit des collectivités rurales, éloignées et du Nord à l'échelle du Canada.
