The four-year projet "Ready to Learn" is a component of the Strategic Initiatives program of the federal government. This project offers counselling, education upgrading, training and work experience to youth in Prince Edward Island who have low literacy levels and are receiving employment insurance benefits or social assistance benefits. Human Resources Development Canada and the government of Prince Edward Island are responsible of the project.
