Being independent, the tremas are allowed to intersect, and they do so with gusto : the probability of a trema's being intersected by no other trema is zero. In other words, the notions of trema and of gap cease to coincide : the term gap will be reserved for the intervals created by overlapping tremas. 1, record 2, English, - trema
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 2 CONT
a gap is benceforth denoted as trema. This neologism is being coined from the Greek trema meaning hole, whole distant relative is the Latin term = termite. Tremas do not coincide with gaps in all instances, which is why two different terms are required. 1, record 2, English, - trema

Aggregation of microscopic particles diffusing in a fluid medium represents a common process leading to fractal structures. If the density of the initially randomly distributed particles is larger than zero, the probability for two "sticky" particles to collide and stick together is finite. It is typical for such systems that the resulting two-particle aggregate can diffuse further and may form larger fractal clusters by joining other aggregates. In the above process each cluster is equivalent with regard to the conditions for their motion, i. e., there is no seed particle as in the case of DLA. Consequently, this process is called cluster-cluster aggregation(CCA) to distinguish it from particle-cluster aggregation(CCA) to distinguish it from particle-cluster aggregation phenomena. 1, record 3, English, - cluster%2Dcluster%20aggregation
