Automatic reference counting manages object life cycles by keeping track of all valid references to an object with an internal retain count. Once all references to an object go out of scope or are cleared, and the retain count thus reaches zero, the object and its underlying memory is automatically freed. 3, record 1, English, - automatic%20reference%20counting

Angular rate gyro accuracy is characterized by two parameters : scale factor and drift. The scale factor describes the capability of the gyro to accurately sense angular velocity at different angular rates... Gyro drift characterizes the ability of the gyro to reference all rate measurements to the nominal zero point. It appears as an additive term on the gyro output, so any actual drift away from a given or predetermined value will cause the angular errors to accumulate. 3, record 4, English, - gyro%20drift

The free gyro ... can be converted to a directional reference by remounting its case with the spin axis horizontal and the indicator axis vertical. ALARA is an acronym for the phrase As Low As Reasonably Achievable. It is most often used in reference to chemical or radiation exposure levels.... ALARA is not simply a phrase, but a work principle, a mindset, a culture of professional excellence. In an ideal world, one could reduce his exposure to hazardous materials to zero. In reality, reducing an exposure to zero is not always possible; certain social, technical, economic, practical, or public policy considerations will result in a small but acceptable level of risk. The best way to prevent this risk from increasing is to keep one's exposure ALARA. 3, record 15, English, - as%20low%20as%20reasonably%20achievable

A good understanding of the basic axis system used to describe aircraft motion is necessary to fully appreciate flight test data, since all measurements are referenced to this axis system. Aircraft translational motion is described in terms of motion in three different directions, each direction being perpendicular to the other two(orthogonal). Motion in the X direction is forward and aft velocity. The Y direction produces sideways motion to the left and right, and up and down motion is in the Z direction... There are several slightly different versions of the basic axis system just described. They differ primarily in the exact placement of the zero reference lines, but are generally similar in their directions.(For example, the body-axis system uses the fuselage center line as the x axis, while a wind-axis system uses the direction that the aircraft is moving through the air as the x axis.) 4, record 19, English, - body%20axis%20system

Angular velocity is the time rate of change of angular displacement. More simply it is a measure of how fast an object is rotating. For example, the measure of a skater’s spinning speed during a sit spin is called angular velocity. Angular velocity is calculated by subtracting the initial angular position from the final angular position and dividing by the time it took to get from the initial to final position. Angular velocity is measured in radians/second (SI units) or degrees/second or revolutions/second (English units). 4, record 20, English, - angular%20velocity

Un gyroscope (mesureur d'angle) utilise fondamentalement la propriété caractéristique d'inertialité (fixité dans l'espace absolu), totale ou partielle, de certains phénomènes physiques. A secondary alcohol has two alkyl groups and one hydrogen.... The three types can be readily identified by the number of hydrogen atoms attached to the central(methanol) carbon atom : if it is 2 or more, the alcohol is primary; if 1, it is secondary; and if zero, it is tertiary. In the pressure type air gauge, air passes through a filter and regulator and is then divided into two channels. The air in the reference channel escapes to atmosphere through a zero setting valve. The air in the measuring channel escapes to atmosphere through the gauge head jets. The two channels are connected by an extremely accurate differential pressure meter. The master is placed over the gauging spindle and the zero setting valve is adjusted until the gauge needle indicates zero. Any deviation in the workpiece size from the master size changes the reading. 2, record 33, English, - pressure%20type%20air%20gauge

Basically, charts are drawn according to the system of rectangular co-ordinates. Rectangular co-ordinates are based on two straight reference lines perpendicular to each other in a plane(...) The horizontal line is usually referred to as the X-axis, or the abscissa, whereas the vertical line is referred to as the Y-axis, or the ordinate. The two lines divide the plane into four parts called quadrants(...) The point of intersection of the two lines is called the origin, or zero point. Scales are labeled along the two axes, beginning at the point of origin. The abscissas(...) to the right of the origin are conventionally designated as positive, whereas those to the left of the origin are negative. The ordinates(...) above the origin are positive, and those below the origin are negative. Any point on the plane may refer to two values according to the two scales. 1, record 40, English, - system%20of%20rectangular%20co%2Dordinates

1, record 40, French, - syst%C3%A8me%20de%20coordonn%C3%A9es%20rectangulaires
