Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The general principles of chemical-reaction kinetics apply to enzyme-catalyzed reactions, but they also show a distinctive feature not usually observed in nonenzymatic reactions, saturation with substrate.... At a low substrate concentration, the initial reaction velocity vo is nearly proportional to the substrate concentration, and the reaction is thus approximately first order with respect to the substrate. However, as the substrate concentration is increased, the initial rate increases less, so that is is no longer nearly proportional to the substrate concentration; in this zone, the reaction is mixed order. With a further increase in the substrate concentration, the reaction rate becomes essentially independent of substrate concentration and asymptotically approaches a constant rate. 3, record 3, English, - saturation

Zones of Water Pollution. Discharge or mixing zone is where pollutants enter the stream or the river. If the waste is dark, it will make the water dark, increase its temperature and subsequently oxygen levels will drop. The rate of discharge should not be stronger than flow of the stream. In zone of degradation oxygen levels drop from BOD(biological/biochemical oxygen demand). Zone of active decomposition is characterized by the following changes : 1) dissolved oxygen(DO) will be at its absolute minimum; 2) odors and gases bubbling up. In the zone of recovery the river will slowly restore its oxygen through aeration process. The anaerobic conditions will disappear. Nitrites will be converted into nitrates and stimulate growth of algae, which will produce oxygen through process of photosynthesis. In zone of clean water oxygen levels are really elevated. And BOD is almost satisfied. 1, record 13, English, - zone%20of%20degradation

A technique in which charged complexes of protein with sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) are subjected to zone electrophoresis in a gel of uniform porosity [polyacrylamide gel] the rate of migration increasing as the molecular weight decreases. 1, record 25, English, - SDS%2Dgel%20electrophoresis
Record number: 25, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The relationship between the molecular weight of the protein and its mobility is linear, and can be used to estimate the protein’s molecular weight. SDS denatures the protein and dissociates it into its subunits to form long, rod-like SDS-polypeptide complexes. 1, record 25, English, - SDS%2Dgel%20electrophoresis

1, record 25, French, - %C3%A9lectrophor%C3%A8se%20sur%20gel%20de%20polyacrylamide%20en%20pr%C3%A9sence%20de%20SDS
