[Its mission is] to provide services for adults with diverse abilities through vocational, social and life skills training, thus enabling access to opportunities within the community and inclusion in society. The centre operates a number of programs. The mandate of these programs is to provide contracts and work for clients, to develop their skill sets and meet their individual goals.

New Boundaries, formerly called the Windsor Workshop, started operations in 1974 at the Windsor Community Centre. Initially, the programs offered consisted of crafts and small make-work projects.
