Une disruption est une instabilité qui peut se développer au sein du plasma. Les disruptions conduisent à une dégradation, voire à une perte, du confinement magnétique du plasma. The first enactment of revenue-sharing legislation was the inclusion of the Coastal Energy Impact Program(CEIP) in the Coastal Zone Management Act in 1976. The CEIP provided grants, loans, and loan guarantees to assist coastal states with costs of public services, infrastructure, and preventing or ameliorating the loss of valuable environmental or recreational resources caused by coastal and OCS oil and gas development. Allocation of funds under this program to individual states was based on the amount of OCS acreage leased for oil and gas development(50% weight), volume of oil and gas produced offshore each state(25% weight), and volume of oil and gas first landed in each state(25% weight). The Reagan administration stopped funding the CEIP and Congress repealed the program in 1990. 1, record 48, English, - Coastal%20Energy%20Impact%20Program

The theory of marginal pricing is that, after a company's total fixed and variable costs have been covered by the existing volume of production, the cost of producing an extra unit of production, ie marginal production, will only be the total variable cost of producing and selling that unit. In such circumstances, the selling prices of additional units could be reduced, if necessary, to match the total variable cost without any loss of profit to the company. Any amount by which the selling price exceeds the variable cost of marginal output could then be an extra or marginal contribution to the company's net profits or cash flow. 1, record 57, English, - marginal%2Dcost%20pricing

Three methods for determining organic matter are given below. The first is the classical Walkley-Black method.... The third method of estimating soil organic matter, loss of weight on ignition, is included because of hazards associated with the use of Cr2O72-. This ion in a strong acid medium is a powerful oxidant. It is corrosive to skin, mucous membranes, the respiratory tract and the gastrointestinal tract. It may create a cancer risk. Some municipalities restrict the amount of Cr that can be discharged into the sewage system. For these reasons, alternative procedures not involving Cr2O72-have been sought. 1, record 70, English, - loss%20of%20weight%20on%20ignition%20method

2, record 96, French, - sinistre%20maximum%20possible

... the five-year formula [is] used by Canadian banks to calculate the provision for loan losses charged to income. Under the formula, the provision was based on the ratio of loss experience on loans for the five financial years, ending with the current year applied to the amount of loans at the end of the current financial year. The formula had the effect of smoothing the recognition of large loan losses in income. 2, record 98, English, - five%2Dyear%20averaging%20formula
