According to the Webster's third new international dictionary of the English Language, "anabiosis" is a synonym of "anhydrobiosis" and this latter term also means "life away from water(of a usually aquatic organism). "According to the Oxford English Dictionary, however, "anabiosis" is not a synonym for "anhydrobiosis" but means "A coming to life again, the power which certain organisms possess of regaining vital activity after being dried and heated, "a concept closely related to that of "reviviscence" and of which the French equivalent is "anabiose"(or "réviviscence"). 2, record 1, English, - anhydrobiosis

État de suspension temporaire des activités vitales, permettant à un organisme animal ou végétal de supporter sans mourir un dessèchement très poussé pendant une très longue période. 1, record 1, French, - anhydrobiose
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS

2, record 1, French, - anhydrobiose
