The total emissive power... is the total thermal radiation energy emitted by a surface element into the entire volume above the surface per unit time per unit area(emissive power, radiant flux density).... In the study of real surfaces it is convenient to define an ideal surface. The ideal surface is called a black surface or a black body, where all energy incident upon the body is absorbed, regardless of direction, wavelength or any often identifiable energy characteristic. Since, all energy is absorbed a=1, r=0, t=0. A perfect absorber is also a perfect emitter. So, the emissive power of a black body is only a function of temperature. 1, record 3, English, - total%20emissive%20power

Hot body emission: All bodies emit electromagnetic radiation. The spectral spread of this radiation is determined by the temperature of the body and a fundamental law of physics. 2, record 5, English, - body%20radiation
Record number: 5, Textual support number: 1 OBS
All matter with a temperature greater than 0°K (Kelvin) emits electromagnetic energy; the amount of energy and wavelengths at which the energy is emitted are dependent on the temperature of the body. The higher the temperature of the body, the greater the magnitude of the energy radiated and the shorter the wavelengths at which that peak energy is radiated. A body will radiate energy over a range of wavelengths, called the body’s radiation spectrum (a subset of the complete electromagnetic spectrum). 3, record 5, English, - body%20radiation

3, record 5, French, - rayonnement%20des%20corps
Record number: 5, Textual support number: 1 OBS
4, record 5, French, - rayonnement%20des%20corps
