The new Canadian Disruptive Pattern(CADPAT) uniform is now part of the Canadian Army's identity. This high-tech clothing gives Canadian soldiers a distinct edge in camouflage survivability. Two variations of the CADPAT uniform(pants and shirt) are now available for use by [the] troops. The first is Temperate Woodland or TW, which is primarily green, black, and brown in colour, and is designed for use in North America and Europe. Arid Regions or AR is composed of three different colours of brown, and is primarily for use in desert regions.

The Provincial Black Basketball Association(PBBA), is a non-profit organization that is committed to the promotion of the game of basketball within the Black communities of Nova Scotia and across Canada at large.... [They are the proud sponsor of the Black Invitational Basketball Tournament held yearly in the Halifax Regional Municipality of Nova Scotia. ] The annual Black Invitational Basketball Tournament draws participants(players and spectators) from around the world and has become a major event on the African Canadian social calendar. The tournament weekend is a homecoming for many old friends and families, and allows them to enjoy the greatest basketball in the country, while celebrating the richness and strength of [their] community and cultural heritage. In addition to organizing and promoting the Black Invitational Basketball Tournament, the PBBA is also involved in various charitable works. The PBBA continues to make special donations within the Black communities to local churches, youth organizations and many other groups in [the] community.

CSAR. Microgravity Sciences provided researchers and scientists from Canadian industry and universities with low-cost, high-quality microgravity flight opportunities aboard the Canadian Space Agency Rocket(CSAR), a Black Brandt rocket developed by Bristol Aerospace Ltd. The first rocket, CSAR-1, was launched in March 1992 and carried five experiments; CSAR-2 was launched in December 1994 and also carried five experiments. Both launches took place at the White Sands Missile Range in White Sands, New Mexico. The Canadian experiments onboard, subjected to six minutes of high-quality microgravity conditions, were designed to advance our understanding of the processes and behaviours of materials, which may lead Canada to improving product manufacturing on Earth and enhancing the development of erosion-resistant materials.

Il s'agit d'une fusée de type Black Brant mise au point par la société Bristol Aerospace Ltd. Première de sa série, la fusée CSAR-1 a été lancée en octobre 1992 avec cinq expériences à son bord. CSAR-2 a été lancée en décembre 1994, transportant elle aussi cinq expériences. Les deux lancements ont eu lieu à partir du White Sands Missile Range, à White Sands au Nouveau-Mexique. Les expériences canadiennes, qui ont été soumises à des conditions de microgravité de grande qualité pendant six minutes, avaient pour but d'aider les chercheurs à mieux comprendre les comportements des matériaux et les procédés connexes et ainsi permettre au Canada d'améliorer les procédés de fabrication terrestre et de contribuer au développement de matériaux résistants à l'érosion.

A kisbie ring in general is a piece of life saving equipment that almost all ships carry. We have 4 stations onboard fitted with smoke markers, kisbie rings and other equipment which lookouts throw overboard in the event of a man overboard. As a piece of rescue equipment, these are painted orange and have the ships name on them in black in accordance with Canadian and international law. When alongside in home or foreign port, we use our ceremonial kisbie rings... in the 4 stations for decoration. We also have the stand and kisbie ring at the brow where you come aboard our ship as a welcome aboard sign and identifier.

The National Day of Mourning, held annually on April 28, was officially recognized by the federal government in 1991, eight years after the day of remembrance was launched by the Canadian Labour Congress. The Day of Mourning has since spread to about 80 countries around the world and has been adopted by the AFL-CIO and the International Confederation of Free Trade. 1967. Three kinds of sets of the new-design(Canadian wildlife) coins were offered to collectors by the Royal Canadian Mint : 1. the familiar six-coin set in plastic, 2. a set in a red leather-covered case(containing a sterling silver medallion in addition to the standard six coins), and 3. a "gold set" in a black leather-covered case. The gold set contained the cent through the dollar and a twenty-dollar gold coin bearing the Coat of Arms of Canada on its reverse. All coins in the gold set were of the best quality the Mint could produce at the time. Some sets even had lacquered coins, to help ensure that their beautiful finish would remain free of tarnish for many years.

1967. Pour souligner le Centenaire de la Confédération canadienne, trois ensembles comprenant la série de pièces à nouveaux motifs (faune canadienne) furent offerts aux collectionneurs par la Monnaie royale canadienne : 1. l'ensemble comprenant la série habituelle de six pièces sous plastique, 2. l'ensemble comprenant la série de six pièces plus un médaillon d'argent sterling, dans un coffret de cuir rouge, et 3. l'«ensemble or» présenté dans un coffret recouvert de cuir noir. Ce dernier contenait toutes les divisions du cent au dollar inclusivement et une pièce d'or de 20 dollars dont le revers s'ornait des armoiries du Canada. Toutes les pièces de l'«ensemble or» étaient de la meilleure qualité que la Monnaie pouvait alors produire. Les pièces de certains exemplaires de cet ensemble avaient même été laquées pour que leur superbe couleur résistât longtemps au dédorage.
